Antho...that cera was 100% ME, i crashed near a river yesterday while i was attacked by troodons! AND that's my skin!!! i was fr panicking, yall got me VERY close to death, like i was at 15% HP before the other cera showed up, he stayed with me and helped me heal after you guys backed down....but then 5 minutes later a trio of cannibal ceras came and finished me off while my buddy managed to escape, i was basically 1 tap to them lol, troodon hordes attacking you are honestly scarier than i thought it would be, i definitely underestimated troodons until that moment.

damn, and Anths group wasnt even that coordinated to make the most out of stage 3. Based on other comments, it looks like they pretty much constantly failed to keep you in stage 3 and reset back to 1. Imagine what horror these little bastards will be when people get really good at swarming and properly utilizing the Venom

@A̸ğ̸a̸ç̸ You can't join it anymore. Last year, you had to fill out a form, and you had a chance to be chosen to join. Admission to the stress test might reopen someday, but I couldn't tell you when tbh.

@@Hithereah You're playing it wrong then, it's a glass cannon that can hide in plain sight. All you have to do is spam pounce and hop off without holding on, you can kill anything fast even alone.

the Troodon 4 call sounds like the Night feeder from Primal, it gave legit goosebumps when i heard it.
Just imagine hearing that and dont know where it is, just like that episode, God damn, i love all the effort on the sound part for the Isle, is just amazing

imagine hearing like 8 troodons using their broadcast 💀
What seems to be happening is you guys are loosing your chances with the next venom stage. Those who chase sometimes arent having enough confidence to attack after the sound que and you only get 15-20 seconds to attack after it. You have to be fast or else you go down a stage which is why it took so long.
Basically: More aggressive sound = Higher stage | Less aggressive sound = you went down a stage / lower stage. You were correct in the sounds being different, because everytime you missed the chance, the call became less aggressive
i hope they give each dino a little popup in the corner of the character select screen that gives a quick rundown of how to utilize unique mechanics of that dino

I really hope the Venom Mechanic isn't garbage, though. I've heard it's pretty bad from other testers. But I love the night terror il play it again.
Not bad, just hard. It’s difficult to coordinate that many people. It seems the timing of the pounce has a small window. I think about 5 seconds by my estimate watching this video. The loudest group call was 3 stage but anth group seemed to not pounce quickly enough and kept slipping back to stage 1. I find it very interesting, harder game stuff like this is hard but more rewarding when you pull it off
@@ambrosianapier7545 i think the timer should be WAY longer than a few seconds, there are times where you just cant get a pounce in or the game glitches and doesnt give you a pounce that shouldve landed. There also should be an Icon or better way of indicating what stage the prey is in
I’m not sure about that. I get what your saying but 5 seconds is a long time in a fight and the troodon max group is 10. Which increases the odds in the troodons favor of at least one of the ten getting a pounce in time. If the window is increased much it will be too easy. Though I agree the visual cue of the prey jittering is hard to see when everyone is running around
People hate troodon, but, in my opinion, it is awesome! Such great design and shouldn’t be underestimated in a big pack. And the animations are amazing!
They wimps, it’s a hard Dino, but it exposed to be. Hard does not mean bad in my book but I guess it is in other peoples. Coordinating ten people to pounce at the right time is gonna be difficult but the game helps all it can with the visual and sound cues.
@@ambrosianapier7545 Exactly my thoughts lol however I think other people not liking troodon is understandable even though I'm not a tester but yeah some people dont like the chaotic nature of having to time everyone's actions right or they all just fail lol

Definitely looks like the grappling is too snappy. There were multiple times where it looked like the cerato bite should've hit a troodon, but their pounce kind of teleported them onto the cerato and they avoided the damage.
I don’t have many friends that play the isle but I’m really looking forward to this creature so I hope the venom mechanic works at least relatively well solo
As a fellow solo player it's not very hard to find other troodons

Best thing about the dinos, they are all fairly quick to grow!
No extra damage from holding on as troodon. Its just to mix up your dismount so you arent super predictable. Damage wise you max out as soon as you land it.
Ah yes, returning to that time back in Legacy where Galis would run down and kick anything smaller than them to death.

In a 1v1, most likely Omni, since troodon's damage is based on its venom, but in a group fight? Troodons would likely win because theres just SO FUCKING MANY
@@seryphgaming welllll it depends on how many theyre are i was talking abaut a 1v1 but if they where in packs the truedon would 100% win because its smaller faster dose venom and is suprisingly good for stamina but in a 1v1 where the truedons cant relay on theyre pack members i feel like raptor would win
Edit : in a pack fight the raptor wouldent win because truedons are to fast and because theyre to smol meaning the raptor would need percise aim menwhile the lil guy can start to slowly chip away at theyre health while in a 1v1 the raptor could easaly overwhelm the truedon and maybe strike it down with one hit? Idk i feel like in 1v1 raptor would win...

Cera, why i love it? beucos it is the only first dino (croc is not dino"deino") carnivore that can solo a carno, plus it's stats and other aibilites are really cool.
