Look at this guys ua-cam.com/video/PwE76mYIGYk/v-deo.html I mean absolutely stunning Low drag Etype with a 6rotor lightweight panels custom chassis.. No Dahm Viper please.
As rotor head who owns all the gen RX7 and past built Harley truck owner I love the fact that you guys show fellow artist and their projects too! Its a so awesome to see what they think when addressing issues.I love that interior concept of the mustang old deep racing dash with modern info center rack!
its not, we just like making tons of power and a 300 dollar pushrod v8 from your neighborhood junkyard tahoe and a pair of ebay turbos is the easiet way to do it
@@marcusfrostenson9959 I have personally done that with a single ebay turbo and a junkyard V8. It didn't last, but my buddy who paid me to build it didn't care if it lasted.
Yeah Buddy that Mustang is a work of art alot of the metal work is beautiful to me, and that stock Coyote will make easy 7 and 800hp without opening the bottom end.. gen2 that is 15-17.. I am around 7 easy on 93.. I remember working on rotary back in the day the vacuum lines, and crack.. still love Rotary especially that billet great job Rob AMAZING powertrain you've made ma!! This is an avenue of video right here, build breakdowns in process. Hoonigan does the pretty burnout part but the Dahm crowd would love to see more of this.
@@Ripper13F1V yup I've heard of putting 24v Cummins engines in the place of the V8 it's fairly common in drag racing the only problem is you have to cut the hood (or replace it with a cow hood) since it's real tall but that wouldn't be a problem for a 6 rotor since it doesn't have the height restrictions a 6 cylinder has so it'll be a true restomod
The Wolverine vs Iron Man mural in that shop is badass. if that gives any clue to their skill level the paint on that mustang should be absolutely phenomenal.
I originally subbed right after the Hoonigan visit. After a bit of time getting used to your no-holes+barred style, I'm so happy I did. Thank you for the honest, informative, and really enjoyable videos.
Very cool, thanks for sharing this with us. Never really knew about the GT500 growing up until Gone in 60 Seconds but have absolutely loved it ever since.
hey its not too bad, but if you hear that high pitch squealing in their shop when you are editing the video, an easy way to get rid of that so your viewers dogs don't kill them you can just put a low pass filter over the audio to cut out any frequencies above 8-12khz. it might sound like the audio is underwater if you cut too low, but it is better than that noise haha
"...less chance of it breaking later on when its under stress." Cars are made to be driven, amen. Like your AWD 4 rotor. Maybe. That's built to be track raced, so it _was_ made to be driven, hallelujah.
Hey Rob, just wanted to say happy early birthday!, I know it's not the 16th yet, but we're basically here. The reason I remember It's your birthday, because it's my birthday too!
This would be a nice car for the 6 rotor as well but I'd stil prefer a Factory five Daytona Coupe R! Such a beautiful car and the long engine would fit under the hood
I have never clicked on a video so fast. I don't care what you throw in it, a Rotary, a LS, a Coyote whatever. Just please do a Mustang GT 500 build for sema 2020. I literally subbed just off seeing this title. What I would love to see; 67 Ford Mustang GT 500. Widebody AWD, Rotary with a sequential shifter.
G'day from West Australia, Rob🙂 Now that is going to be a nice Gt500 Mustang. Love the metal workmanship/craftsmanship in it's raw format. Coach building is my forte. But I did Automotive Engineering . And 3rd gen Engineer in the family on Paternal side.
yo dope choice on that wonky chill beat you used. I hate the cheesy generic edm that far too many youtubers use! Thanks Rob :) Didn't watch the whole video yet (and everyone else that has commented so far has not either) so imma continue doing that now lol
Neighbour already has a blown 5.0l coyote out of a gt 500. The only thing the guys do to that motor is change the timing chain regularly because it stretches under continuous high rpm usage, like the all day burnouts.
@@kstricl actually if you watch the video from April 16th 2008...you would see that Neighbor has a 5.4L supercharged engine out of a 2007 GT500. He had bought the coyote engine for the project but never installed it. Check it out.
Man I love old muscle car wish they could use an older engine but those engines aren't the worst I've just seen many coyote engines brake when modding those engines. I think the 6 rotor would fit perfect in a viper
Billit?
A 50/50 weight dis would be sick on a viper.
Totally Viper would have plenty of room
Yea, he should get a cheap 1st gen Viper.
It has to be 4th gen viper........the best combination.........🤟🏻🤟🏻
Rob: "does it rotate?"
Uhh i guess
Rob: "then its a rotary."
Rob you're literally a Tokyo drift character. First the rotary and now the old mustang. Just like the movie 🙌

Yea, pretty sure these companies started making them this past year once Nelson's patent ran out lol

Very cool, the dash in particular looks awesome! I do metal work myself so I can appreciate the work that went into that build.
mirrored/symmetric is important. Just makes everything beautiful ... and I think there is a small increase in turbulence characteristics. Awesome!
Just an observation, the lift that the Mustang is on is awesome. You can hide it under a bench when done. But it has the car close to 5 ft in the air.
Another mention for the 6 rotor BMW 8 series (old) :p
Thanks to Rob for bringing this Mustang car to light. Interesting.
Did some body work on this car at COPE/THOMPSON about 4 years ago during an internship . But damn This thing has came a hell of a long way ! 😍
