Thanos was so powerful he took on the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy all at once without breaking a sweat (granted he did use the gauntlet to fight back)

i'm not sure why it took so long for them to take the gauntlet, but if iron man or spiderman stopped quill and the other kept pulling at the gauntlet they might have succeeded.
Dr. Strange could have, but he saw 14 million different endings. Thanos needed to keep the gauntlet for them to beat him in Endgame.

@@funtimefreddygamingz2364 yeah but in that duration thanos was wanting to see what Iron man was made off and how strong he was because he had respect for tony and then ended up f*cking him up but when he thought dr strange he literally had to use the soul stone (the most powerful stone) in order to end the battle between them and even Thanos was suprised how well he did
