My son and I had a blast with you Brandon I hope to do another video together soon thanks again for a great adventure and another great video like always
Me to man!
The
Nice bottle. When you find a cop who knows where to find rare coins, send him my way.
Hahah I’ll keep that in mind
Good video! Thanks for recognizing the law enforcement!
Thanks Steven and Any time!
Being a retired LEO ,I can tell you most officers give the same amount of courtesy and respect extended to them . Law enforcement , a necessary force for good . Thsnk you LEO 's for your service and sacrifice . God bless and keep you and yours .
Cool share, so true about law enforcement, they more positive shoutouts. Thank you.
I always support our police, most are wonderful people. They risk their lives so we can be safe. Also they respond to 911 calls for someone hurt,or needing medical attention.Like you said a few bad police officers doesn't mean all police are evil. There's good and bad in all walks of life no matter the job, race, religion, skin color.Don't let hate win.
I agree. 💗 Local law enforcement is the best. They have saved my life. Wouldn't be here without them.👍
Glubglub...help...I can't breathe! I almost drowned! Lol! Great fun!
The insulator is a C.D.112 AKA a "keg",a fairly scarce insulator made better because the embossing is between the wire grooves instead of the side of the skirt! Nice find!!
Thank you for sharing something nice about law enforcement officer's. LEO Mom here!
Awesome bottles Brandon and I also love and respect all law enforcement!
AWESOME!!! THANKS FOR SHARING
Thanks for sharing your video 👍
Any time! Thanks for watching and commenting 😎
Great video! Nice finds!!
Those green power line insulators are hard to find. Nice finds on those bottles (not a big bottle collector myself, but still interesting).
NICE cop, it was kind of him to show you a new area to look for bottles. LOVE IT.
Awesome blossberg bottle!👍
It is a beautiful creek.
As soon as the cop saw your insulator he realised you couldn't be charged 🤔🍻
Hahahaha
Wonderful day, glad you support law enforcement, never had a problem and always felt good to see them out and about.
Nice bottles!
Great video once again, I fell in love with Alabama when I was at Ft McClellan in 1981, I am a Retired Deputy Sheriff and love your channel as I am a treasure hunter and love to scuba dive Florida for Megladon teeth. Keep on making great videos!! 😊👍
We back the blue 💙 excellent finds
Great hunt guys. Some nice bottles you found. Keep swinging
Good stuff, Brandon buddy. Always a pleasure👍🤠🍻⛏
I have found some very old bottles here in iowa in the river bottoms
Amazing upload as allways as allways top job and see you at the next 👍 and have a nice weekend 😀
That's a old insulater it's straight. They started flaring the bottom out on the newer ones to shed water. Nice finds.
Thanks Mark! I thought it was old but insulators really aren’t my specialty haha
As a 34 year veteran as a Police Officer and Deputy I really appreciate the kind words. I started watching your channel just a few days ago and I'm hooked. Keep the videos coming
Thanks for the great comments on law enforcement. Being a retired LEO it was nice to hear. Good bottle hunt. Always enjoy watching. Thanks
Any time!
Nice river finds Brandon! 😎😎
Love your videos, so glad you said positive comments about law enforcement
Always!
That was an older insulator . I found one like that that still had the wooden peg screwed into it.
Back the Blue! Thanks Brandon.
Fun hunt. Nice Pioneer. Thanks for sharing you positive experience. Wishing you all the best. Good luck, happy hunting and take care.
Brandon, that water is so nice and clear, spring fed is the best.
Great video Brandon Thankyou
Im sure the LE officer really liked you as well, and i love that he gave you a tip!😊❤❤❤
Nice Blossburg bottle Brandon! Love to see what it looks like cleaned up! Totally agree with you on you take on law enforcement...the thin blue line has really suffered at the hands of a very few who pander to the left. We desperately need our folks on the force and I support them! Keep these great videos coming!👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
The bottle is in the tumbler now!
I totally agree, RESPECT is the way to go. No hate filled looks, no mumbling , follow directions the first time . Yes l was pulled over by a cope that thought l took too long to pull over. He was abusive but l still followed the same rules he ended up apologizing to me.
Thank you for portraying law enforcement well. I am unfollowing several channels that I used to watch a lot because they act like fools, get called out by law enforcement and then they portray law enforcement like the are the bad ones.
As always Brandon, great video, great finds keep up the great work my friend and you are spot on about our Law enforcement, so nice of you to shout to them!😀👍💪
Insulator is Southern Bell Tel Co and has two grooves for two wires, they brought 2 wires together on some poles. Probably early 1900s
Excellent finds Brandon, I love the glass fuse and the Pepsi that your friend found. Stay Safe and have an awesome day :)
Thanks Kelly!
It's always greet to find something you don't usually find. Some nice glass on the day Brandon. Happy hunting and be well
Thanks!
Fun, cool creek. I back the blue 👮🏽♂️👮🏼♀️👮🏾♂️👮🏿♂️👮🏻♀️ for sure. Cool finds right off the bat. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 ~ Texas
These are interesting bottles and the insulator is nice
Hello from Tennessee. I totally agree with you on law enforcement. Good luck on your hunts and I enjoy your videos.
I support the police.
I also support this channel.
God Bless you both
Thanks Jay!
@@adventurearchaeology
Thank you for a great weekly adventure and knowledge of old bottles aka history. 👍
No matter what people say or think I always support our Police officers and thank them for what they do
Awesome!
I support LE too.❤️🇺🇸. Great video!
It was 49° for me this morning. You're about to get some gully-washers. Looks like we're both moving into the best weather of the year.
Loading scrap 4x8 sheets of aluminum today. Good weather for it.
I’ve been waiting for summer to end hahahaha
Nice hunt Brandon 👍
Good finds! I appreciate the police!
Love your creek walks. So.. pretty. My closest creek is 20 feet deep. In Texas
Can't wait for the winter when we can really see the bottom.
Good hunt guys 🇺🇸
Thanks Fred!
That’s a decent insulator. I believe they are in the 100-200 dollar range. It is a Hemingray made piece
Good stuff!
Thanks! 😎
The first creek was surely a rare one. I've never seen one that clear in AL.
Yeah that water is clear. As a fellow Bamian I will attest to that lol I already follow his channel 😄 Nice bottles cant wait till fall and i get to go your videos always get me itching to go. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Brandon, nice finds for the first 15 minutes in. Heard you alright after you took the camera out of the water. See you the next time you visit this pretty creek. Joy 🇺🇸❤️
Thanks Joyce!
love insulator’s I have a few, mainly do railroad items. nice video thanks for the hunt.
Nice pick-up Brandon👍🏻
Great finds! Brandon, thank you for the positive light you shone on law enforcement personnel. I am not a Leo but I do volunteer for my local Police Department here in North Carolina. I must admit that I was expecting a horrible scene but I was incredibly happy that there wasn't one. Thanks again for your and your channel's support.
I was hoping to get the attention of all the negative nellys hahaha! I’m hoping my positive experience helps shed some light on what really happens with law enforcement.
@@adventurearchaeology lmao but if you watch southern searcher Scott is always getting his chops busted by Alabama cops. It's great entertainment but always feel bad for him.
Has a lot to do with attitude. I’ve never had a chip on my shoulder haha
@@adventurearchaeology absolutely.
Any waterway is Public Property. Nobody can own it (and three feet from shore I believe). If a cop catches you in the water tell them the law if they hassle you.
A Blossburg Pioneer, how cool! I love the Gibbs and the insulator. That looks like a great place to hunt!!! I gave Johnny a sub!💖
Thanks Cynthia!
The insulator is a nice one, I’m on not good on the southern ones but that’s a rare one, I’d say about 1895-1910. It was a transposition where the main wire was on the top and a smaller wire (that leads to a house or business) was on the bottom. And the little one at 6:55 is an electric fence insulator.
Makes sense!
I've been watching your videos for the past few months. I'm inspired.... I plan to walk a creek in my town in private land I don't own (but nobody owns the waterways) witch might be very interesting as it is right behind the remains of Al Capone's old safe house. Location SW Michigan
I’ve been a backer of the blue my entire life. I’ve worked along side them for 9 years now & have nothing but respect for police. Great video. I’m digging that insulator.
Wish I could get to the deeper parts of the creek I walk. The water is somewhat clear to about 2ft plus it’s not the cleanest smelling water. I just want to pick up bottles not something I can’t wash off with soap & water. I couldn’t see the bottom on deeper parts anyway. I’m almost 50 getting down in there is no problem sometimes a little faster then I like to go but getting back out of it is a little challenging. I guess I got bottle fever.
Thanks for taking us along on the hunt.
Congrats on finding your much sought after Blossburg bottle Brandon 😃 the insulator and other bottle are really cool finds also 😊. I'm a strong believer in "Back The Blue"!!
Very Good!.
I want to start doing this, can you please tell me if you are starting near the bridge or are you randomly going to a spit were the bed is low and walking it
Any day you find a bottle from a city I've never heard of is probably a pretty darn good day! Ive been meaning to get out recently but I need to find some local creeks to walk. I just moved a couple months ago, and I havent had a chance to get out and search. Definitely far too hot to do any digging right now! Good luck, and stay safe!
That water was nice n clear. To bad Florida doesn’t have as clean of creeks as yours. I liked that one bottle that tapered or narrowed up top. I thought it was different. I would be happy to have any old bottle LOL.
We got tropical storm Fred coming our way this weekend. I better get busy picking up anything that will blow away.
I don’t think Alabama will get much of it. I’ve heard you’ve had a lot of rain lately.
♥️♥️😊👍👍
I think the law enforcement is awesome, glad he helped you out,
Godbless,and happy Thanksgiving 🙏
Most UK police are great and one Seargent we dealt with was brilliant. Just one or two spoil the whole basket though.
BACK THE BLUE!!
I whole heartedly agree that the police are getting a bad rap lately. There are a few bad ones. But by in large, most care about keeping us safe. My daughters boyfriend has just finished police academy and will be on patrol after his covid test comes back negative. He's a great guy, over 6' and 230 pounds and looks fierce but is extremely kind. I've never heard of that town ! So cool bottles. And you wife is doing super on her jewelry!
If I remember correctly, that glass insulator is the kind that was used on early telegraph poles… it’s the shape…
I was metal detecting at a local fairgrounds when a police car pulled up. He surprised me with opinions on where best to look!!! They’re 99.9% great people.
Nice hunts, congratulations on your finds! I've had the same thing, ran into several types of law enforcement over the years between looking for native American artifacts and metal detecting. Never had a bad experience with any of them. A lot of it has to do with your attitude and how you interact with them. If you're gonna be a jerk, whatever happens next is on you. So, kudos to the officer you ran into for giving you a tip on a place to hunt! Good luck and stay safe!
Exactly! Speak respectfully and be honest as to what you are doing!
How true.
@@michaelely2267 Amazing how so many people don't get that basic concept.
I agree law enforcement officers have always been friendly to me. Most of the time when they stop they want to see if I found anything cool lol. My daughter starts school for law enforcement this fall. Nice finds Brandon congrats! Stay safe and all the best!
I have had your experience with Police of all types, State, Sheriff, City, even when I’m getting a ticket, or needing help. This includes the times I’ve had to call. It may help that I’m a 5’2” white lady, but that has been my experience over many Countries, and States .
Have you ever done this in Kentucky? any pointers you can give me?
Wish Pearl Harbor was that clear! Found some Hutchs there, my best Hawaiian medicine. Bad water, so found a week in the hospital there too. Have dug lately up at Yokohamas, an all Wartime downtown dump. I'm about 50/50 on "Johnny Law". I initially give them the benefit of the doubt, and comply with instruction. The oddest thing is the most "Establishment" bottle diggers brag on their "Badass commando" exploits. I use my judgment, and stay out of abandoned & semi residential areas. Only when necessary I don a disguise as "Authorised personell". (Hardhat & boiler suit).
SBT&T = southern bell telephone and Telegraph. This one known as a pony.
Very cool!
Most LEOs are great people. However.....when those illegal orders come down most of those good people WILL enforce them........and have been. Give credit when it's due and be critical when it's due.
cool.. how did he help you ?
He asked what we were doing and once he found out that we like old places he steered us in the direction of an old cabin nearby!
What kind of bike do you have?
I'm an outlaw can trust them in my line of work
where is the link to the other guys channel?
In the video description above.
yes..............support our police and military.............
Blue ❤️ 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Most Americans do support law enforcement. But the LE system is hard broke. If your medical systems were configured like our nations LE…all Americans would fear for their lives when sick. I could detail the LE processes that are broken…but the people must demand improvements & systemic fixes.
👍🏻🇺🇸
it's not hard to be cool . and some just got to be butt head's. i no.
I am glad you have and have had good experiences with Law Enforcement. You are right not all of them are bad apples. But let's be real. It helps that you are White.
Just FYI. A real world fact for ya.....Folks that act like a pos get treated accordingly-As they should. Regardless of their skin color. But keep drinking the leftist/racist koolaid, I’m sure it will bring you heat success in life.
@@580patriot5 Why did you feel the need to get rude with this person? They said nothing that was rude or inappropriate, nor were they bashing the police, just stated FACTS...there ARE "bad apples" (as there is in every profession and walk of life), and skin color DOES make a difference.
I have no desire to get into a spitting contest or political debate on Brandon's channel (who has specifically on several occasions asked people NOT to do, but YOU couldn't resist). I just wanted to stand up for a fellow human being that has had or has seen a different prospective than you have. It's not that difficult to be KIND to others, give it a try Give Brandon the respect that he has earned and shown us. ✌
@@dianna3157 There are absolutely bad apples in every profession. On that we agree. I have seen all kinds- first hand. And....I also agree that Brandon is an awesome dude and I love his channel and do NOT want bad things on his posts. (Such as that person posted) However, I assure you that skin color has nothing to do with the way folks are treated by a cop 99.999% of the time. This, young lady, is a FACT. So, when I see someone state something so stupid, (as you and the previous person did) that Brandon only got treated respectfully by the cop because he was white, I will interject facts into that stupidity. Brandon got treated respectfully because he treated the officer respectfully. Period. Had Brandon been a disrespectful Pos to the officer, (which would never happen with Brandon), then he would have been treated like a disrespectful Pos. So, in typical leftist fashion, you come to the aid of another leftist drinking the koolaid.
Your reply to my interjection of facts tells me everything I need to know about you as well. You know only that which you have been fed by the media. Since you felt the need to protect the integrity of the posts on Brandon’s channel, what an intelligent, decent human would have done is-send a message to the person that I corrected, stating that, that type of racist comment does not need to be on Brandon’s channel. Then ma’am, you would have been correct and we would be in total agreement. Have a wonderful day.
Yeah most of the police in my area are ok also. Sometimes they can be jerks but not to me lol
