Nice to see this! This is one of my favorite AATs. Definitely the most realistic and battle-worn. The metallic sheen is a great touch.

The 30th anniversary figures/vehicles were truly great for sure. A nice balance of sculpts, character choices and price. And great availability!
This was my first AAT back when it was new. I'd been out of collecting and skipped the prior two. I never understood the molded-in damaged droid pilot until I went on ebay and got the Episode 1 release. The Episode one release is the only one with the driver ejector feature. It's front hatch doesn't snap into place, just sets on the body. They molded a clip on the hatch for later versions. The original 1999 version also explains the one-position turret cannon, it was made to flip up out of the way when the front hatch/pilot ejection feature was activated. They NEVER changed the cannon on any later version. And only removed the flip around damaged molded in pilot in the last release for the Phantom Menace 3D., replacing it with reclined seat of sorts.
The turret lever is actually for you to seat the droid inside, close the hatches, then have the droid's head pop-up out of the hatches, which is why they have loose hinges.
I own all but two versions of the AAT. There were 7 different release. I never opened TCW blue and desert ones, though. 30th you have is the best deco, if not movie accurate. Final release is best for figure interaction...if the interior crew matters.
Oddly there's an Episode One Desk Organizer AAT made by someone. Ebay sellers will try to sell it as toy since from what I can tell, it's the same scale. Though, it has a thicker base for storing pencils or paper clips or whatever. Strange concept.

I think that’s the overall nicer looking AAT. I have the grey and blue one I bought loose complete for $30USD. That MTT is a beast! I’ve been looking for a loose one 95-100% complete. Your channel is what actually started my collection of the clone wars era vehicles. They have the biggest and best varieties of all the Star Wars line. Great review!

Definitely an awesome vehicle and the weathering certainly adds to the look of the vehicle. I have the original version, but I do like this version and could be tempted.

Nice one mate! It is far better than the one I've owned from TPM toy line. That one was very clean but at that time cool. Sold that one unboxed several years ago, but this one is very tempting 😉
Vehicle reviews, yeah! I agree with you that the weathering really makes a vehicle. This one is a little too dark for a Phantom Menace scene, but looks great. I only have the Episode I version from 1999, it does the job for my Battle of Naboo diorama where they are so clean. Cheers.

It kinda represents a mash up of everything, a vehicle first seen in TPM, the emblem tributes/reminds me of the Clone Wars in general, theres subtle hints it's from Geonosis AND finally, the weathering & finish of this version just make it look the best produced! I'm well happy! 🥳👌🏼🥰
Also... that dark tan colour does make it look nice next to MTT! 🙏
P.s - I still wouldn't mind picking up another to compare it with this one! 😉👌🏼💙
I do really love the Clone Wars vehicles, both Republic and Separatist. The AAT is perfect to go with the amazing AT-TE on display. 👌🏻

@@OnlyOneKenobimy friend, I just got the 2012 AAT tank. The updated interior is superb but a welcome one.
"Fire!" Can see a commander piloting that thing. Now I want to see the Tactical Droid from the Clone Wars updated although really at first the B1 Battle Droid needs to be updated and given the same definitive sculpt as the Clone Trooper. Then they can repaint all they want but first give the Battle Droid some love Hasbro that the Clones have because they'd compliment each other so well.
Anyway I never had this vehicle when I was young but I know I would have loved this if I did. Would look great in any diorama because it saw so much battle but of course nobody will ever forget when it made it's first appearance in the Phantom Menace coming over the Naboo hills. Very striking image probably meant to evoke the first appearance of the AT-AT.
Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Great video and review. Happy Easter Sunday. Separatist Sunday? I don't know. Looking forward to the next video.

I think a great vehicle to try and get hold of perhaps would be the Clone Wars Y-Wing Bomber. The white and yellow version. I think it could be pricey,but its quite big and does look great. Would look great with some of the Clone Wars stuff you've been getting recently👍

OOK, you can't compare the deco of TVC 2.0 vehicles to anything that came before. It even blows away TVC 1.0. Hasbro did do a bang-up job on the 30th, though. That Y-Wing looked like it landed in the swamps of Dagobah! Lol
That is my biggest gripe about the CW branded vehicles. They were all way too clean!! I think I saw another version of that brown AAT, at a collector shop. The deco looked a bit different. I'd have to go through one of the website databases for comparison.
I've always liked the design of the AAT. I have at least two or three of each color variant to showcase different divisions. The blue deco, the plain tan & the brown. They even have matching B1's. Although I think they only have two colorways for the Super Battle droid ( metal & cobalt blue ) & droideka ( brown & rust ). I'd have to check again. Even the STAPs, mini tanks & other vehicles have the grouped color deco, which I seperate into different droid armies.

I'm an OT-OT'er... Original trilogy old timer.. 9 years old when STAR WARS saw it's first line around the block. I waited all those years with baited breath for the prequels... Ready to adore it as much as the first 3... Was FINALLY gonna get to see Obi Wan and Anakin fight side by side in the Clone Wars...
It was all glorious until the amphibious Rastafarian showed up.. I let it go with a stiff upper lip..
Then came the droid army. Millions of heartless, fearless battle droids... With G-D Black and Decker car vacs for heads..
BLASPHEMY!!! And I'll be damned if those movies didn't get the most badass vehicle and creature line ever seen...

What I don't like about this AAT is that the colour scheme is completely inaccurate. Every othe AAT has colors that are accurate to the various AATs (tan and beige for Phantom Menace, blue and grey for Clone Wars, and brown and tan for Geonosis) but AATs have never been shown to be all brown like this, which really puts this one low on my list.
Yeah but, this one matches perfectly with colour of MTT! They go together well! Agreed on colour match, but still not a million miles away from TPM vibe! And as for that weathering.... 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 masterclass! This AAT, should be HIGH on your list, if not for your TPM box, just as a stand alone piece that looks less like toy plastic and more rustic real world! 😉👌🏼💙

@OnlyOneKenobi I mean, it's not just inaccurate to TPM, it's inaccurate to ALL Star Wars media. This color pattern has never appeared anywhere, be it on screen, in a comic, or in a book. That's why I don't like it because every other AAT made by Hasbro is at least accurate to something (TPM, TCW, etc.), but this one just isn't accurate to anything.
