YES! Minnesota Represent! As someone who has grown up and lived in Minnesota all my life, let me tell you first hand, Mall of America is NOT just a carnival. Think a mini Disney Land/Universal Studios but inside a giant mall with rides like roller coasters and a Farris Wheel, etc.
And it's Nickelodeon Themed as well so stuff like Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents, etc.
The Alamo is still pretty cool to me. Have plans to see it again soon and the historical stuff inside.
5:40 Last time I went to the state fair it was too overcrowded and I felt like I needed to keep my wallet in my front pocket.
Walmart was founded by Sam Walton in Bentonville, AR. The Walmart Museum is rather small, but the original Walton 5 and Dime is right on the square downtown. I live in the area, and the Walmart Museum I visited there is free. Bentonville is less than a two-hour drive through the Ozarks from Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO so the suggestion Jay should visit the Walmart Museum is actually a feasible suggestion to plan with his visit to Silver Dollar City.
I’ve never been but one of the features of the Mall of America is it’s so big there’s a full roller coaster inside the mall.
I can attest that Aspen is a tourist trap for those who have money. There are better slopes and cheaper ways of enjoying your powder than dumping thousands onto the yuppies of Aspen.
Yeah, I am in Tampa. Have been going to Disney since I was a kid. I took my kid there many times as well and my kid is grown I still go. I have spent many thousands. And I always had a smile and said "take my money". Why? Good quality, had fun, etc. Since they've destroyed SW & Marvel...and the quality at the parks have gone down...I have been very careful with my money. Still have passes but don't spend as much. I go to the food events at epcot and that is about it. Now, I do less stands, I spend less nights, I buy less (if any) merch. Huge brand damage.
Love the fact you can laugh at a list of the worst XD Thank you for video
Thank you
10:53 trying to do an Australian accent there buddy? LOL XD
The Space Needle has a Revolving Restaurant...and also an observation deck..There is another about a third of the way up....and yes..like everything in Seattle, way overpriced..
Yellowstone was absolutely amazing when I visited 20 years ago. I would hope nothing drastic has changed.
I'm curious why they added the Ark Encounter. I went for the 1st time last year & thought it was incredible to see. It goes into detail how Noah & his family could have survived on that boat with all those animals. Would love to go back, there's some beautiful artwork I want to buy in the gift shop & I didn't get to see all the exhibits in the park. There were a lot of people there, even the Amish were there lol
I think I need to go
So both of the Disney parks secured the top spot in their respective states, eh? How very karmic that is. 😈
But the national mall is also surrounded by several monuments and the Smithsonian museums. All of which are free to enter so definitely worth the trip.
But I agree that the plantation gardens for the most part are pretty lame. Much better to drive up to Columbia and go to the Botanical gardens at River Banks Zoo.
Visiting the University of Alabama they call that a rip off smh 🤦 also they call the French Quarter a rip off WTH smh 🤦
Maryland resident here, can confirm OC boardwalk is overrated. Its a decent spot for college kids to get drunk but thats about it. We call it "White Trash Disneyworld"
Huh... I've lived in North Dakota for the past 42 years and I've never heard of the North Dakota pyramid.
🤣🤣🤣
I come here for the terrible reading mistakes even though they drive me crazy. Lol
lovveeee
I’m in Arizona and honestly I’ve never heard of any Wild West recreation towns except for Tombstone. And Tombstone is fun! It’s definitely a day trip, lots of cool history. 😎
There are beautiful towns in Arizona that have a Wild West history like Prescott but it’s not a tourist trap.
yes dude they are all over... lol. There's another one I went to a long time ago near Superstition. I remember it had an old brothel in the middle of the town lol. Edit: I found it, it was Goldfield.
I think you were going for wreck-reatioin not wree-creation...
Aspen is worth it if you're a double diamond skier. The main line is crowded.
Hawaii Waikiki, Adams Family Values Joke, Debbie use to live there with fester, She is the Temptress Of Wai Kiki 😂
Pretty much everything in Waikiki is overpriced.
The Alamo is cool if you're into that kinda stuff, but maybe people expect to see it all still standing, not realising most of it was destroyed.
I just wanted to see the basement of the Alamo…
Texas Rodeos are good but the parking fees are a rip off!
I live not too far from Hell, Michigan. The mini-golf course sucks. It's in really bad shape.
The Walmart museum has the largest collection of famous American artwork in one place.
Also, I went out onto a glacier in Canada on the Columbian ice fields, it was an Amazing experience. No rip-off there for me.
As a lifelong New Jersey resident I completely agree with this list.
lol
I visited a glacier in Alaska. It was an awesome experience.
I’m from Iowa and I’ve never been to the Iowa state fair lol
They definitely got wild west recreation towns, Jay. Seen some on YT, want to go to them. Very cool places.
Edit: Goldfield Ghost Town in AZ.
I have never been to a disney land or anything like that.
Not even a local fair or anything like it
No state fair
Never been to a concert or a play
Never been anyplace outside of my local area
iOS state fair is one of the biggest state fair. It’s rediculous
Yo! Cedar Point is dope!! King’s Island, too!! This list is whack!! Sorry I had to bail on the livestream before you made it to Ohio!
All good
Jay you should definitely go to all these places and tell us if it’s really a rip off!
How the hell is the Alamo a rip off? It’s full of battle and period artifacts and aside from the San Jacinto victory monument and nasa possibly the most important thing in our state.
Because of the movies, people expect to see that and don’t realize it’s in the city
Aspen is full of liberal billionaires and their children and that’s destroyed most of what people actually enjoyed that. Same thing happened in Jackson, Wyoming.
Four Corners isn’t even on the four corners. Bear Country had to make massive changes that destroyed the enjoyment of that place. The bears used to climb on the cars (my mom grew up going there).
Yellowstone is considered a rip off by people who try to pet the fluffy cows, don’t even try to look for wildlife, go when tourist season is at its height or visit in the off season when there’s basically one road open.
Wyoming with only one road open is the whole point of Wyoming though.
12:50 Cedar Point is fantastic, totally worth the money, I highly recommend. The only issue I could imagine is going during a weekend day or a holiday. Go on a weekday it will be amazing, and ride some of the best rollercoasters in the world.
Thanks for sharing!
There's a desert in Maine?
Lmfao 😂😅😅UAT university of Alabama at Tunkalooka😂😂😂😂😂
Coeur d’Alene Lake is sort of pronounced kerr dah-lenn. Yes it’s French
Coeur d'Alene is pronounced like "core dah lane". The lake is actually called Lake Coeur d'Alene. Apparently these people don't even bother to look on a friggin map.
Biggest Rip-off in Nevada? Las Vegas.
Hey Tombstone is legit.. there are other small mining towns that are fun to go to as well
The Ark is on the list because of anti Christian bias. The Kentucky Derby should have made the list. It’s just an overhyped horse race.
Hi Jay,Helene from Au here,I’ve never played mini golf but it always looks like fun. I’d so support you doing a comp with a number of people with a fun prize for the winner n to go live with it too. Fun times 😊
That would be cool!
@@Drunk3PO yep Road Trip like that movie from years ago Lol 😂
I wouldn't mind trying some desserts of Maine. Would they be lobster based?
Maple ice cream and blueberry desserts of all kinds. Super delish.
wow. she didn't mention you or the fandom once. I mean yea, technically maybe inside her house she was alone + husband, but not like that.
Look....I went to Maine and I had THE BEST DONUT OF MY LIFE! The desserts of Maine are not a joke! I still think about those donuts. Potato donuts in Portland, Maine. I want to eat them again!
hahahahahaha I see what you did here
Great ending
Nantucket is the better island in Massachusetts no doubt.
Those shirts are niiiiice!
Cedar Point is awsome.
I disagree with #13:
The biggest rip off in Illinois is their Tolls and their state website.
It’s such a rip off, that there is a planned class action lawsuit from multiple states because of it.
Dishonorable mention: The Chicago Bears and their owners. Their rip off status is so notorious, I could go off on a AVGN level rant on just the Macasky family.
The good news: my new hometown Fighting Irish proved that Caleb Williams sucks as a QB on multiple occasions.
Yikes
@@Drunk3PO yeah.
Drunk on it!!!
MACAC!!! LOL
