- When the last echoes of nature's generosity faded and humanity's plight against the darkening tide of scarcity seemed lost, a cosmic emissary descended-a silent Conductor cradling a shard of pure energy, a piece of the stars. With this gift, the District Core was born, a towering monument to survival, its foundations entwining with the celestial piece, breathing boundless power into a world on the brink. As the Core's light blossomed, turning night into day, humanity thrived once more, their dependence on the Conductor's silent vigil growing with each pulse of the Core’s radiant heart. Yet, beneath the gratitude, a murmur of uncertainty threaded through the streets: what would become of them should the Conductor, whose motives remained as distant as the heavens, reclaim the borrowed stellar might? The question hung in the air, as intangible yet as omnipresent as the light that now shepherded their existence.

I tend to listen to your work while I'm writing or drawing. Sometimes, like tonight, I sit here tired and exhausted, yet unable to sleep.
I am alone with my thoughts, and my mind is not a forgiving place, as it tends to wander in the darkest of places, and I am haunted by memories that I'd rather forget.
But, in the background of my quiet room, I have this piece of beautiful, melancholic, yet hopeful ambience gently playing on my speakers while rain drums on my window.
I am not cold, but I have goosebumps, I am not saddened by your work, yet I have tears on my face- here, I can find a measure of peace, and in time, I will drift off to sleep.

I used to have repeating dreams of walking around an empty city just like this one, the air cold and humid, light rain or rained on streets, the city spanning who knows how far, giant buildings with lights on in them, giving off a feeling of life within them, whether it be little or lots. It gave me a feeling to go inside of them, to explore, or seek refuge, to find someone, anyone, anything...

@@robbybobbijoe thanks man, yeah it takes quite a bit of work to get the visuals to be “seamless”, usually about a week. It’s a lot of balancing lighting. is it realistic enough? But also brings some sort of dreamlike feel to it? And so on. I imagine some purgatory feeling when I make them most of the time.
