Not quite as polished as NBA Jam: On Fire Edition in the animation department. More along the lines of an NBA Jam Extreme/NBA Jam 2004 in style, too. Looks like it has its moments here and there, but kinda janky overall. Allowing players to dribble again after picking it up is one of those little things that affects balance, since there's no downside to throwing elbows to clear out a defender. On the whole, my takeaway is that it definitely falls short of the best NBA Jam games. Good to see it in action though, I'll probably still be inclined to check out a home port if it gets one.

damn this looks like a true successor to NBA Jam.
