I always wondered who did the laundry and ironing of all the clothes - i have never seen such cleanliness for people surviving in the wilderness. Such clean finder nails. 10,000 BC must have had mud that just did not stick to your clothing, no matter how much you rolled around in it.
The people went in the portal before it collapsed, The people also said eve escaped through a different portal. Ty stayed and everyone else escaped through the green crack in the sky.
Indeed, it went from an action show to conversations about action that happened off camera. We know the actors strike is to blame for the shortened season. But this may as well have gotten canceled on a cliffhanger like shadow and bone, cause these 6 episodes did NOT cut it.
It showed how everyone got home except for Eve, who we assume found a different portal. Yes it would've been nice to actually see it and they did rush it, but I was just happy we got closure on the characters and the story.
@@Concepcion30 yeah, sooo many conversations! I was laughing every time they were in the middle of something dangerous and they had to stop and have a deep, meaningful convo! 😂But I still enjoyed it.
Considering how they tried in vain early in in the series to find a way back, its ironic how in the end they were bouncing thru portals to 2021, 1965 and 10,000 BC like nobodys business. But i guess the writers did what they wanted to bring it to a happy conclusion (which im glad for) even though it did seem rushed. Another couple episodes maybe wouldve helped, but we'll still take it. A good program overall :)
I like the happy ending ending, and that the seasons missing characters were actually a part of the finale.. Not everything has to be tragic or doom and gloom.. seeing, instead of being told what happened to characters, is much more fulfilling.. 8 or 10 episodes would have helped expand more storyline to not seem as rushed, but the network had already shown they were ready to move on.. any hopes of making a movie could have potential, but likely on another network, I just read that the Wynonna Earp series that was canceled a few years ago on the syfy channel is now going to have a reunion 90 minute episode/movie special on tubi this year.. and that show had its own production issues..
I feel show creators tend to start rumors about spinoffs and movies to enhance the bottom line in profits. They rarely happen. I was a big fan of the series but there was a LOT of harsh tweets, blogs, and negative publicity on the series. Most of the negative comments were the story arc of Eve in an adulterous relationship with her husbands best friend. Flaunting it in front of her husband and kids. The writing was terrible as it was told in a way that didn't make sense. i might be wrong but to me that was why Eve and Levi had limited screen time in season 3. The series was so much better without them as the other characters shined in there roles.
I really liked your ending recap, Thanks for sharing...There are a couple of things to touch on for me. For Levi to have meant so much to the Harris's it would have been nice for them to have mentioned him in an endearing way. He did save Izzy life and told them how to get to Eve. I didn't understand his and Mia's connection. Like how long they knew each other and why didn't Mia' work/use him in getting info from Gavin instead of Izzy's friend. Also why did he not know of that military base. Isn't that where he got those explosives.
They didn’t show Petra on camera when the mother was killed, but she had to have been right there with them. And in the next scene outside we see her, showing no signs that she just became an orphan.
I actually thought Petra would turnout to be Levi's daughter. Also when you look back carefully in the series they hinted that he was working against Gavin from the beginning. In season 3 he knew all along about Mia's military base. It was most likely where he got the explosive material to blow up the tower. Was she Mia the one he feared if he went back home.
I just finished watching this episode and even though it wasn't the best storyline (tons of plot holes) I still loved the show and the characters. Thank goodness there were happy endings all around!
While I’m sad la brea is over but I am glad that at least a prehistoric creature or dinosaur show here didn’t end on a unfinished cliffhanger with no closing for once
I must have missed this during the episode and I would really appreciate someone explaining to me about how Eve made it to 2021. I understood that Eve was being held captive in 1965. So, how did she get to 2021?
If you missed any dialogue then you could miss out on a lot. Many scenes were spoken about after rather than portrayed on camera. The silliest of these was not showing how those two kids survived a raptor attack.
Well at least it had a happy ending which is something we don't see much these days. However, it was a cheesy ending just as the series was starting to get good. Oh well...
