Really fascinating to hear this from guys 10 years younger lol my dad got me this game in 2000 for my 8th bday Id literally sit in the main menu jamming with that main track
This is one of the very first PC games that got me into PC gaming. This, Deus Ex, Diablo, and much more. Gosh, the nostalgia of this soundtrack.......... Me, at age 4, playing with this kick-ass music, as Max, and Kurt; fondly remembering Kurt's level in the first world. @Jeremy Brookes Actually it plays in the first level with Kurt, right in the moment you encounter the cyclops ball machines that throw fireballs at you. So, because of it I associate this track with Kurt too
Man this brings a nostalgic tear to my eyes, I remember all the late night weekends playing this on my Sega Dreamcast hanging out with my cousin, Dreamcast had a feature on it where you could just listen to the soundtrack, man I miss those days sometimes.
Back when i was a kid i can't finish first dr hawkins level because i was still stupid lol. 5 years ago i remembered about this game and finally finished the game. Feel so smert tho

Back during MDK2's time, Bioware did really good bringing out the graphics than any other game company. I can't imagine how Mass Effect 3 is going to look.
@Marcello Silva: Shiny Entertainment was responsible for that marvel. I read that those guys were literally flooded with thousands of letter from all over the world (Internet wasn't yet what it is today). It surprises me that this game doesnt have a bigger fanbase.
Deserves a REMASTER.

+Marcello Silva "Games nowadays take themselves way too seriously and try to be as realistic as possible"
That's just an over generalization.
+Gordonkris Thats just a perfect explanation of what is wrong with games today. Even GTA 5 suffered from this.
+Gordonkris Well, I think naughty dog could work around it.
The first one could really use a facelifting ...
+Poly Hydroxy Yeah, the first is pretty rough. The 2nd could still pass today if they used a couple of tricks and call it stylised
doomguy? naah
super soldier in mjolnir armor? nope
scientist with crowbar? move along
a janitor with supersuit? NOW WE'RE TALKING
Doom guy, mc, Gordon and Kurt could make a great team
Me want MDK 3 damnit! they could totally do it you know.
JUST DO IT! MAKE MY DREAMS COME TRUE!

@Jeremy Brookes Track 14 actually plays when you snipe the lock. I believe it's the other song in the HD remake.

If I had heard this song in Mass Effect 3, I would destroy the Reapers on my own.
'98 was a magical year for gaming.
This came out in 2000.
Oh man, I remember getting this game on a CD included with some cpu or motherboard part I got for a windows 98 PC back in 2001. Good times!
this track in mdk2 reminds me of Kurt in the first part of the game. I wish most games were this good...nostalgia is strong on this track....
Somebody, somehow should make a sequel to this marvelous game.
If they could get the rights.
Picture mdk with unreal engine?

Now THIS is science!
@Terayukiboy for real. it's a beautiful game and really needs to be made into a movie.
