The LG Rhythm is a sweet phone my momma had it when it came out it has a built in FM Transmitter :)
Also, the LG fast-tap from 3:43 does a really cool startup animation to me, with car, speed. That's cool.

A year ago I ought a phone lot and there was an Alltel LG flip phone with the other ones! Considering that Alltel isnt offered in Scotland, ir the UK, it surprised me!

The model you didn’t remember is the LG AX355 - one of the few push to talk alltel phones. That was my first phone actually.

I originally had 3 LGS. Escape 2 (AT&T is the carrier name, e730, and two flip phones (3 uk is the carrier name) silver with black designs on it and the plain jane silver. The one stolen by my clepto relative and the other is given away. My e730 is still with me but the battery was thrown away and it has some flaw with the power button. Thank you!

I got ripped-off so much with Alltel Wireless, when I joined the Army in 2001 and they loved it. It was my first provider, ever and they took all of my money...
Long-distance was the worst!
I can do everything for free, now. I waisted so much money on phone bills...

You said some of these used to be your phones? You used to have Alltel? Reason I ask is they haven't been able to be activated for a number of years now since Alltel has been defunct since late 09-early 10 in my area. Did you flash onto another carrier?
I was born in 1998 so when i had Alltel i was younger. Alltel in our area didn't fully get dissolved in till 2013-2014 they ran off the Atlantic Tele-Network until At&t bought them out :( and then i did flash my Alltel phones to the Pageplus network for awhile.

Oh really. i had Sprint after alltel till i moved then they didn't get service where i live so swapped to Verizon prepaid :/

These phones have certain aesthetic to them. Like they have that beautiful shade of blue to all of them. I especially like the LG one with the center button as the Allred symbol. Unfortunately this company is bought out by Verison.

There were actually two software variants of the Kyocera kx1/soho - my mom had an earlier version (circa 2005 or 2006) with the old alltel logo, and it’s boot up and shutdown animations and sounds were different. Would probably be hard to find one of those really early versions at this point.

8:58 was nastoliga my dad used to have data from alltel until it was discontinued he moved on to iPhones until the town up west had at&t so my family switched to AT&T because alltel was discontinued
