I see it every year. Tall black kids that can dunk because they hit puberty earlier than others. They always get drafted ahead of the late developers. However, I think Big Country Reeves probably made scouts second guess slow moving tall white dudes.

Also imagine if Denver banked on nurkic and traded jokic instead dame and joker would have been champs already
But the ultimate prospect and best pick and true goat of any nba draft ever: Brian Scalabrine!!!
That guy can play!
9:15 1X MVP…I bursted out laughing.😂
I wish the main stream media liked Jokic more, despite his skin color deficiency. 😔
Nice video from NYC
I’m curious how Embiid has proven he can be a title contender with the “right team built around him” at 9:20. He’s only failed to make it past the second round. He has never contended for a title, even with a former MVP and multiple time scoring and assist title holder on his team. Your comment was a straight-up lie.
So inspirational
Crazy prize man 😮 never thought youd be giving that out 5 years ago
It's crazy cause not only would Jokic go #1 in a re-draft over Wiggins but the real Maple Jordan in the NBA is Jokic's teammate Jamal Murray.
Embiid should've stayed in Volleyball
It’s crazy how many players in this draft are out of the league, or at the least, no longer on their original teams.
The fact I can watch Randles high school highlights and see my current high school coach playing him is funny
8:06 Bro is at my Alma mater. That’s crazy😭
Growing up in Omaha Dougie McBuckets was must see for sure. Bummer he didn’t pan out that well in the league but to be a lottery pick and have a 10 year NBA career as a 3 star recruit coming out of high school is pretty damn good.
Doug playef for his own father at Creighton, a Pete Maravich situation.
@@paulsholar9356 when I would go to Creighton games back then fans of the opposing team would chant "Daddy's boy!!!" whenever Dougie would get subbed in. Which was always hilarious bc they'd be chanting that while he dropped 30 on their team lol
Jokic is like a heavier, more ground-based Jordan.
Same reasons tom Brady was a late draft pick. Greatness doesn't always look like what people are wanting/expecting to see, especially with first impressions
I had high hopes that Jabari Parker could become a player like Carmelo Anthony or Paul Pierce, but it's such a shame that he didn't become a star player.
Same. I thought Parker was gonna be better than Wiggins.
I see it every year. Tall black kids that can dunk because they hit puberty earlier than others. They always get drafted ahead of the late developers. Even Steph Curry was a late developer and should have been drafted higher. Steve Nash, Austin Reeves. So many white boys get overlooked because they don't play "hero ball" in games. However, I think Big Country Reeves probably made scouts second guess slow moving tall white dudes.
I'm going to fix one part for you really quick "Of course, Marcus Smart said the fan said something racist and, of course, the fan denied it." Just make them both racist it's so much easier on everyone else.
Imagine if the Cavs picked Jokic over Wiggins on that Draft night and then he was traded to the T-Wolves for Kevin Love and it'll be a blessing for that team and KAt/Jokic duo will be unstoppable. 😁
They wouldn't have drafted kat If that happened
If that happened Jokic wouldnt be in the NBA anymore...cause the pressure of 1st pick is insane...seeing Jokic needed 3-4 years to get productive and 6 to become dominant i think media would demolish him by then...this was much better for him cause expectations were low... Same would apply for Giannis
If embiid was selected second we could have seen him team up giannis
Great Draft Class goes real deep. ❤
“shout out to austin rivers” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Developing Players even when they get into the NBA is all about Passion. Who wants to play better and practice harder to make themselves better? Larry Bird Magic Johnson Pete Maravich THEY ALL DID IT. SOO WHY IS IT SOO HARD FOR THESE GUYS TO NOT FIGURE THIS OUT NOW THAT PLAY????
He started playing basketball 1 year before the draft lol
I guess he means professionally, but still
NBA values speed, vert, wow factor and muscle over IQ, fundamentals, team first mentality...
Struggled at 1/3 is crazy he took 3 shoots
Something don't add up here, 1.7 mil folowers and only 50 thousands and change views 15 hours after posting...
5:06 lmao French league is ass, they got only 1 good team (Monaco) but they have to hype it for Wembanyama xD
Fiba's ranking for Serbia is 5th, France is 6th
@@0808samson Both French and ABA League are trash now, but when Jokić played, ABA was much better.
@@0808samson you fr comparing national team rankings... because? French league is really bad, and that's a fact. ABA league (balkans teams league, to put it simply) is alright but it's still WAAAAY better and more competitive lol
@@lazarperic4525 Listen, since the teams do not play against each other in the same championship, at some point we must find an objective way to compare them, right? But according to this criterion, the players who make up these teams are not less good.
Franch legue is much more shiter then ABA legue. And plus in ABA, they play more defense and don't go for scoring. There are no Superstars just the team is in first place focus.
Well no one’s laughing now.
Joker was picked last at this years All Star game too. He didn’t forget that.
I think Jokic will change how teams scout and look at players imo I would have prospects I’m looking at run a scrimmage with my starters and bench to see how they do with nba talent around them fuck those individual workouts with the damn staff member😂
You can see how good Denver Nuggets agents are when it comes to scouting NBA prospects.
