I admit that I was on the fence initially, but I can now confidently say that this portable AC has exceeded my expectations. Setup is definitely a bit involved at first but, once you have everything where it needs to be, you will be glad that you took the time to get it done. As others may have mentioned, there is certainly a level of noise that the device creates. It does not run quietly, nor is it deafening. That said, it absolutely cools very well, provided you follow the installation instructions to the letter. The most I had to do, as far as upkeep, was clean the filter when the indicator turned on.
All in all, a very good portable AC, and absolutely worth the money. I would recommend getting the warranty as well, just in case.
