I like the looks of the baby q I am starting to thing I need one. My other Weber is really to large for just me and my wife. Then I could use the large one for get togethers.
I have the Genesis for when family visits . But for me and my partner and youngest the baby q works a treat . Also less gas than lighting up the Genesis for a small roast .
Love the 1200 baby q, just took it camping near Texas NSW. Had two of them set up for 10 people. Did steaks, snags, bacon and eggs, even did tea and coffee, works a treat.

Cant remember off hand as been over 2 years since i bought mine, but it will fit in small car , i picked mine up in a ford mondeo boot. You can also take it out the box if it wont fit in car. Hope this helps

Great vid mate just found your station and learning a lot about the q ,will b getting a baby q 1000 delivered in a week ,do you know why Weber give side tables and choice of colours to other country’s but only give Australia two choices and make us buy the extras keep up the great vids cob
We call it the Weber tax 😂 Australia gets ripped off on a lot of products compared to other countries. So having tables as accessories they can get more $$$ for the Weber . Thank you for comment and supporting my channel really appreciated 👍🛎

My Q1200 has a small yellow plastic ring piece in where the gas tank goes do I need to just try to pop it out so I can put the canister on?
We have those in gas tanks here, so I’m guessing it’s just to protect from dust while gas not connected
Do you have to season the grill plates and optional griddle before using?
You don’t have to , though I did season the griddle plate before using
How do you remove a gas bottle from this bbq my fitting won’t move like it’s really tight
Make sure you are turning anti clockwise.
They get really tight over time 👍🔔

How long approximately will the canister of propane last ? And how high does the grill surface stand when on the Weber stand?
The grill stands around waste height so about 3.5ft . The gas lasts around 20lb tank 18 - 20 hrs on high
