Hey Jordan, I'm a student in the Netherlands and I've been investing my loans in stocks for almost 2 years already (mainly commodity miners, oil drillers, oil tankers, dry bulk carriers, cannabis stocks, bank stocks, emerging markets stocks and crypto). I should try the VIX strategy as well, thanks for making this kind of content!
Hey Vlad, that's quite the unique collection of stocks you've got there. Nice job using your loans responsibly to boost your returns. How have things worked out for you? I'm assuming you've been coming out ahead?
@@jrdnbshp hey Jordan, it worked out great, by far uranium miners have performed best, but I'm up on most of my positions. I've been following Chris Macintosh, Rick Rule and many other resource investors for some time now and it's been great.
Nice. I'm very familiar with Chris MacIntosh's approach to investing (less familiar with Rick Rule), and I generally trust Chris to make good choices based on his track record. I'm surprised he's no longer bullish on Bitcoin though. Have you watched any interviews with Michael Saylor? If not, and you're curious to learn more about Bitcoin, his podcasts with Lex Fridman or Robert Breedlove are good places to start.
The savings account doesn’t have any risk if you stay below 100k saved money per bank.
In my books, the certainty of losing purchasing power year after year is a pretty substantial risk.

Whats the vix strategy?
I explain it in the video linked at the end of this one.
Simple, but low and sell high. Profit.
