Thank you for this, I visited Tub Tim in 2002 and left my heart there. I've been back a couple of times since, but I want to go back for like 6 months and do NOTHING except eat green curry on the beach and motorcycle around when I feel like it. Koh Samet is my happy place.
I was told by a friend of mine, who is a very seasoned visitor, to go to Koh Samet instead of Phuket. Cost for hotels are way below than the hotels of Phuket. Sounded good for me, so now this is my second stop after Bangkok.
Thank you so much for this very informative video. It definitely helps a. Lot to those travelers that are having a hard time communicating with the locals. More power to your channel Sir.
Beautiful and wonderful place. Nice Koh Samet by atmosphere, weather and view. 🌿🌿 Wow very fantastic blue ocean beach these areas. Love it and miss it 💖💖
This is a beautiful place we shall have to call in here on out next tour of Thailand. We stayed in koh samui in March this year so this looks chilled and relaxed for us .thankyou
Thanks for the tour. I’m visiting Thailand in March and I was planning on staying at the Samet Villa Resort if possible because of its beach. Hopefully it isn’t crowded then.
13:29 The name of the beach is not white (kaw) sand but glass sand, in the sense of Glamor, Lightning, Glossy material, shiny (Kaew sound like ke-o). That is, the sparkling sandy beach. That's what the locals explained to me in 3/2022.
That's correct . Actually in Thai it is understood as sparkling christal.I literally lived on Samed for many, many years...30 years ago...the rest I lived in Bangkok ...soon I will be back there to spend my remaining time on this earth.
Hello Jeroen, just came back from 3 weeks Thailand and now you post this...😢😢 Looks really nice. Maybe on my next trip next year or so. Nice video mate. Enjoy . Groeten uit Arnhem 🙏😎🍺 Fijne koningsdag morgen 🍻🍺🍺
Been to a lot of Thai Islands....this has been on my radar while trying to get back to Thailand this last 2 years..... as BKK is my base where my best friend Thawee lives....would satisfy my Island love while we were hoping to also visit Japan...or Bali...or Laos....every time of the year sometimes makes it difficult to find an Island....just a matter of time...Thx
Ao Pakarang and Ao Wong Duen Beach,Ao Tub Tim,Ao Pai.Hat Sai Kaew.Koh Samet is just a wonder and sad so many resorts arent opened. Those daily fireshows are really something.
I've been going to Koh Samet for over 30 years. It's a fun get away from Bangkok. There are a lot of nice beaches all over the island for different tastes in accommodations. I've also been all over the island on my mtn bike. Looks easier to do now that there is a paved road.
We have been going for 34 years! you would also remember they only had electric for a few hours a day and the few beach bars ran fairy lights off car batteries.
Its really a nice island....im on the island same day as you are 😂 9:18 , that red shirt lady is my mum, shes chilling at the cafe while im swimming out in the water that day 😂
How nice. I will be there in a couple of weeks time. I am planning to stay in Wai beach (Apache). It seems quieter and not completely south. Would you know if that beach has a nice beachline and swimming is safe. Also, instead of motorbike, are there e-bikes or bicycles available on rent. Thanks.
I havent been to Samed for 5 yrs from what I can remember only some part of the island belong to the national park if you not enter the national park it should be free. Are they change now or something.
2:12 Do you mean rock stupas? It's originally East Asian tradition to make a stupa from not-so-big rocks and then pray for a good life etc. East Asian tourists brought this tradition to Thailand and Thais started to follow them. lol
Are there any good Go Go bars on Samet? Do you have contact details for any transexuals there. I don't think I will leave Pattaya for this place on my next trip.

Is that the Samed Villa Resort?

Thank you for showing this beautiful island today😊🙏🏼☀️😎🚴🏼
I was pleasantly surprised to see the island has not been completely destroyed yet, haven't been in 20yrs.

Hey Jeroen, thanks for the video…that island is now on our bucket list :)
Hi Tom, great. I think it is one of the under estimated Islands in Thailand.
Beautiful and wonderful place. Nice Koh Samet by atmosphere, weather and view. 🌿🌿 Wow very fantastic blue ocean beach these areas. Love it and miss it 💖💖
Perfect beach holiday Island.

This is a beautiful place we shall have to call in here on out next tour of Thailand. We stayed in koh samui in March this year so this looks chilled and relaxed for us .thankyou
I think for a pure beach holiday Koh Samet is way better then Koh Samui.
Thanks for the tour. I’m visiting Thailand in March and I was planning on staying at the Samet Villa Resort if possible because of its beach. Hopefully it isn’t crowded then.
Brother Lee going Tomorrow ❤
13:45 - yes indeed, in kho chang - sai kaw - white sand
Otro gran vídeo, disfrutando de verlo 😀

I was there back in 2008 and indeed, the roads were tough.
My favourite koh samet🤩

Ao Cho looks good for swimming.
Yes, and the Sea is mostly calm on Koh Samet.

Yeah on the bicycle it should be easy now, just a few hilly parts, but not to much.
We have been going for 34 years! you would also remember they only had electric for a few hours a day and the few beach bars ran fairy lights off car batteries.
Rayong and Chantraburi is such a underrated province.
Its really a nice island....im on the island same day as you are 😂

Oh, I just see your message now. That is funny that I filmed your mom on Vong Duang Beach.
hi how r u I don't know if u remember I saw u with my family from 5 month in Central chitlom in lofter food
Hi Mohammed, nice to hear from you :-)

Those heaps of stones are very much in vogue in Taiwan especially along the beaches on the east of Taiwan
Near Kampot, Cambodia I seen the same thing by Bokor Station. My guide told me Vietnamese Visitors placed them there.
I’m going to kohl’s samet
Is there a good place to go snorkelling?
Take my scooter there is a good choice ? Or rent over there ?
Would like to know the prices.
Swe(a)et memories, going south on a bicycle 😱🥵🥵🥵
Hi there, wonderful video! Can you share the driver contact from bkk to koh samet pls? Tried emailing but not working. 🙏
Are the beaches this quiet because of covid or was it always this quiet even before covid?
how the best way go all beaches
I'm already here
Rent a motorcycle. Then you can see all in one day.
I havent been to Samed for 5 yrs from what I can remember only some part of the island belong to the national park if you not enter the national park it should be free. Are they change now or something.
Everybody has to pay entrance now.
National Park has been moved to the pier now so everyone has to pay.
Are there any other public transport. We don’t use motorcycles .
You can use the Songthaew (pick up truck) to go from beach to beach as well. But the Island is small. You can actually easily walk everything.
2:12 Do you mean rock stupas? It's originally East Asian tradition to make a stupa from not-so-big rocks and then pray for a good life etc. East Asian tourists brought this tradition to Thailand and Thais started to follow them. lol
Yes, the rock stupa's. Ah ok so it is not really a Thai tradition 🙂
Do you still test Covid before going to the island?
No there was no test needed.
if you are here let's grab a beer
come on
I was there 3000 years ago 😅
Literally, nothing much to do here ?
Some shops and 7-11 and watching the sea wave lapping ?
Party on the beach at night
if you stay over night there are plenty of bars and a club
Are there any good Go Go bars on Samet? Do you have contact details for any transexuals there. I don't think I will leave Pattaya for this place on my next trip.
Better stay in Pattaya. No gogo bars on Samet Island.
Stay where you are pls, that’s what makes this Island even more beautiful, stay with your fantasies in that toilet Pattaya and do us all a favour.
Ao Cho looks good for swimming.
With the pier its perfect for swimming a bit deeper.
