This is for the wonderful Luniae, who won the bid for my VU auction! For those of you unfamiliar with ViddersUnited (VU), it was a charity event that vidders hosted, where items were up for auction/buying. I had colourings, YPIVs, and vidlets up for grabs.
Luniae and I discussed many options, and in the end, we settled on this concept as one of the videos. I wanted to edit Draco and Hermione to this song some years ago now (the lyrics are just on point), so when the song was brought up in regards to them, the inspiration just clicked!
Working on this project was a challenge, but it was really fun. I got to renew some five-year-old manips and dust off my Dramione and Drarry days. I really didn't think I'd be editing Dramione ever again, since I don't really care for them much outside the fic realm, but I'm really glad I did. I think this video turned out pretty solid!
This isn't the only video that Luniae will be receiving, but I think the rest will be for private viewing. (Or, at least, take a while to go public, like this one.) I just wanted to give her a huge thank you for donating so much on behalf of my channel. I definitely think more than one video is well deserved! Editing this was a pleasure and I'm even more excited for the other one I'm working on!

I am being completely honest, THIS IS THE BEST FREAKING DRAMIONE VIDD I HAVE EVER SEEN and I have seen a lot of them.
I don't ship Dramione at all, but this was simple beautiful. The way you put them in scenes together made it look so realistic and the music overlaps with the feelings in this video so well. You've done it again, and I'm speechless. Wow.

I love Ron and Hermione's relationship and I'm not saying that HP isn't interesting but if Draco and Hermione ended up together, it will be a freaking hit. Ron and Hermione's relationship was simple (no conflicts) but if they did that, the movie itself was not focused on Harry.
I think it was because Draco and Hermione were so much interesting together And they would take away Harry's prominence, just imagine it, they would take all the attention and it would become a love story more than a story about Harry, and Ron let's be honest it would go into oblivion without Hermione

Ron and Hermione didn't have conflicts ?? Lol ! Draco and Ron are the same. They consider themselves superior above all other creatures. Towards the end, he learnt to respect other creatures. The reason Ron is better with Hermione instead of Draco is that he respects her and defends her unlike Malfoy.

And...the fact that even the coloring is thought to the point that the colors fit them perfectly: this cold green (slytherin) for Draco and this hot pinky red (gryffindor) for Hermione.

This is absolutely amazing! Out of all the dramione edits I’ve watched, this is really realistic. The scenes are all put in perfectly, the fact that you made the separated scenes into one and made it look like Draco and Hermione were talking to each other or facing each other or even when Draco gives out his hand to Hermione for a handshake, it’s just WOW

I love Ron and Hermoine too ! But the reason I love hermoine and Draco is because how much they remind me of James and lily; they were both bullies who grew out of it James sooner than draco, both were pure bloods well cared for as children, but James had choice he had good friends, a family who thought him right from wrong, but draco had neither had those things so he couldnt really stand up for what he believed in like James did , it’s really sad that the ending that JKR gave for draco is very anticlimactic!! I love his character !! And he had a great chance like regulus black for a amazing redemption arc, I mean he does get a redemption but it’s not very. Satisfying as it’s supposed to be!!

you keep raising the bar for all editors out here. This was so beautiful, not only the song is georgous and perfect for them but I really want to remark on the coloring you chose. The mix between red and green (perfect for them) and the way hermione's scenes look a lot more redish and draco's scenes waaaay greener... just PERFECTLY edited. Ever since I’ve watched HP I shipped them together. I don’t know if it’s because the whole enemies to lover trope but I found that they always had potential. It would’ve been amazing. I think they could’ve been a real and raw relationship. This is my number one ship of the whole HP, maybe I’m just a sucker for the out of ordinary ships. But, I really wish they could’ve happen.
So that's why this so accurate video turned out to be the prequel of the whole saga😃 and that is why Draco "hates" Hermione. I always thought Hermione was protecting Draco when Harry thought he was a Death Eater. There is also the scene where he is attacked by the Hippogriff and she cries out to Hagrid worried that Draco must be taken to the infirmary. And especially when Hermione smells the potion: cut grass and mint. I’d say it’s more Draco than Ron😍

Tell me about it, i read all the books before i watched the movies, and i was so eager to watch the movies, i would sometimes come on here and watch edits of harry potter and all the ships and stuff. This was my favorite ship (still is) and edits like these were so real to the point that i thought it was canon. So when i watched the movies you can imagine how confused i was when i found out she ended up with Ron, and that i had just been watching really really good edits of Dramione haha.

Dramione is a great ship. Some people think it would have been toxic if it was cannon, which I think is ridiculous. I can see why people think that way and understand that it could be a toxic relationship. I just think it's a really great ship and I'm mad they're not cannon. Oh well, at least Hermione is happy with Ron.

My absolute FAVOURITE ship trope is enemies to lovers generally so I very Clearly see and understand the love for Dramoine even though I wholeheartedly ship Romoine. I read part of a Dramoine fic once out of that curiousity when I was little. It's definitely art like this that makes me wonder of what could-have-been. Absolute love the video and the way you once again flawlessly put together scenes and made manips and told a lovely, emotional story.

Personally, I've always thought that Dramione was toxic and would always be toxic. I just couldn't see how Draco would be able to form any kind of relationship with Hermione after the years of bigotry and bullying, not to mention his family's influence on blood supremacy. But I'm not gonna lie, I understand the potential between them that others find compelling. Watching this video, I forgot all of those initial opinions and just enjoyed it.
Also the sob i let out by the end of this video seeing the pictures disappear was disgusting T_T Beautiful job!
