They were two, to watch together!
Mr. Shields, today we thank you for your dedication, professionalism, common sense, passion for politics, humbleness and the inspiration you've brought to the PBS viewers for many decades. All the kind words from viewers and colleagues in today's program (your last) were well deserved.
Take care, gentleman.
We miss him! Was Brook's copiloting anchoring teammate!
Rest in Peace Mark. Your inspiring words to me many years ago as a directionless young man will never be forgotten.
I love Mark. As we massholes would call him, Mahk. His comment on Chris Christy is hilarious. He was a gift from god.
I love this guy. He seems like a gentle soul.
As a fellow LCPL in the USMC you are my mentor and hero for having both served under the same rank. Always Faithful
Mark Shields is a journalistic hero -- thanks!
RIP Mark Shields.
Mark was a class act and Brian a world class human
Love this guy. Smart, articulate, amusing and he has a good sense of humor.
A true patriot! Thank you Mark for all your work.
Have fond memories of bob Novak and mark shields. Sure both are together again
They folded like a three dollar suitcase.
One of the vital voices in the dark swirl that is American politics at the moment. My favourite US commentator

Mark Shields contempt for Trump distorts his political analysis. I used to quote Shields now I feel only pity for him...
Professional hack Mark Shields should have retired a long time ago to a galaxy far, far away. Consistently narrow-minded, ethically insulated, shamefully self-aware, ideologically prejudiced, immune to rhyme and reason, and plain simply inaccurate.
Okay Mark. What do you make of this if you are so smart ?
