Moreover the most important places to decarbon if you are having a stock setup is the tranfer ports and the piston ring groves. The blade that you used is a strict no!!! Use a wax knife used by dentists or a plastic scraper. Personally I use them and a fine grit sandpaper with petrol to clean it off. You can polish your exhaust port but not the intake , transfers for better automization.
