I am a big fan of Bush and Gavin. Great name and this dude is a prolific song writer but doesn't get the recognition he deserves. I dint think I've ever seen a song credit from Bush or Institute that was his name and there are so many songs. He's made enough money to never work again but he continues to out out songs and so many are great. Happy to see he's still doing it and enjoying it.
Shout out to Gavin.. I was at the House of Blues in New Orleans 4 or 5 years ago and went and seen them and they played Machine Head and I started moving around on the floor with my little brother nothing serious and some muscle 💪 bound roid head punched me as hard as he could in the back of my head, Gavin saw it, he stopped middle song, pointed at me got security to me to make sure I was ok, had the meat heat booted and told the crowd to buy me a drink immediately...... coolest moment ever.
Bush was my first concert. Goo Goo Dolls and No Doubt opened for them. Their song, Alien, is incredible live. I saw them on Valentine's Day and the covered REM's This One Goes Out to the One I Love.... Best, cover, ever!

I tried so hard to be like him lol learned how to play guitar like him and try to sing like him but I couldn’t lol it was one or the other it’s tough playing guitar and sing at the same time. At least for me so I just stuck to playing guitar 🎸 lol till cancer fucked me over for years and then took my hands. The nerves in my hands got fucked up and it’s tough to finger my guitar like I use to. Sucks .

I just saw Bush perform in Michigan sep 2022 and he was performing with breaking Benjamin and Alice in chains and bush was literally the best and Gavin was interacting with the fans then he jumped off stage and ran up hill in the cheap grass seats letting all of us touch him and he kept singing while running up hill, it was killer I was tearing up artist hardly ever jump in the crowd and sing right to the fans and to pay attention of the cheap seats as well so f-ing cool!!!!! ❤

A few years back I went to one of my favorite venues at the Palladium.. went a bunch of time so I don’t remember to who it was playing..I think it was 311 .. so while we were there they had Bush posters up for an upcoming show in a few weeks after .. so we decided to come back to see them .. one of the best shows I’ve ever seen .. they were so fun live .. Gavin Rossdale's an epic musician. So much of his solo stuff and later Bush work is underrated. I met him wasted after a show about a decade ago and he was super kind and cool even though I was very sloppy. Stand up dude.
I saw them at the festival in Germany he was talking about. In fact I almost got into a fight bc I didn’t wanna wait in line to get in I’d have missed Bush and it was so worth the stress. Bush was amazing live and Deftones & Mastodon! What a lineup! But yeah Gavin still sounds so good live and the energy is incredible!!
Xanax and lorazepam were hands down the worst to detox from. Opiates weren’t as bad because they give me something for the withdrawals. I tried taking myself off benzos at home. I was having seizures and finally went into cardiac arrest on the kitchen floor.
When my oldest daughter was a teenager she was obsessed with Gavin! She had wall to wall posters of him on her bedroom walls. It was a toss up between him and The Backstreet Boys.
