- Patch 10.2.7 will be introducing a special new event that changes how you can level through levels 10 to 70, and lets us replay through Pandaria with a few new twists. There are special skill gems, gear and loot are totally different, and there's even account wide progression. In this video we'll break down everything you need to know about this new event and what its going to play like when 10.2.7 goes live.

The only problem with this event is that it ends.
This is all we wanted from Torghast lol. Glad to see they are taking Alt grinding from a slug fest to something fun to do.

Disagree. The mainreason why people loved pandaria for example were the classes and how they felt at that time and the legendary cloaks were also great. The systems, zones and raids were only the cherry on top. The remix might become a great feature but i can never be the true experience of MoP for example
@@Kenji-117 This isnt really about MoP specifically. It could have been any other expansion (would have been bad to choose one that has just been part of classic). It is about getting a (hopefully) returning game mode during the stale parts of an expansion (the last few months) where people can have fun. This is 100% better than Classic for me. Also the legendary cloak was trash. I have basically never liked when they introduced a legendary that was required or expected to get (didnt like the BfA cloak either).
Just wait for MoP classic then? This seems seriously fun regardless.

it really feels diablo-y overall, having played a ton of diablo 3 over the years. the gem combining and unsocketing was the first thing that stood out to me as a diablo thing.
The option to spam LFR in leveling is pretty appealing.
They took raids for leveling straight from Season of discovery and its a hella good addition.

@@jordanluck4450 The world boss mounts are about 1% drop chance so they arent that hard to get now. As fast as most raid mounts.

This sounds kinda awesome. If it works I can see them adding a different Timerunning expansion at the end of every current expansion. Its a great way to encourage players to stick around without having to create any new content!!LOL
Or! Instead of timewalking pandaria-draenor-cata etc every now and then we could have timerunning! It would be far more interesting than going in the same dungeons over and over with nothing to gain. I say nothing to gain cause after a while in the expansion you do not need the normal piece of loot from a timewalking event. But you could always be happy to play so as to farm whatever it is you want to.
This may be the replacement for the usual pre expansion event alt leveling spam we usually get, so the actual pre expansion event might be something less grindy.

I got the phoenix mount from a random chest for a quest completion so looks like these can also be rare drops from chests.

But even without that, this event seems like a lot of fun! Even the farming aspect of getting the raid transmorg outfits for all classes!

I remember recommending something very similar a few years back for new and returning players:
Instead of a stupid island, just run into a bronze dragon that gives you you a run down of what happened, gives you a choice of which expansion you wanna level in, then off you go!
I’m absolutely loving the game modes and just complete overhauls of how we play the game

MoP was the last expansion I played full time. So I have a really special memory about it and this whole remix thing sounds really fun. Already even received messages from some of my old guild buddies from back in the day to play this one together. Think its going to be a genuinely good time.

How does raiding work? is it all LFR? Or do groups need to be made for normal / heroic?
I'm glad they're taking inspiration from Season of Discovery with abilities on gems. I hope they do more things like that with swappable spells on live.
It hasn’t been mentioned yet, but will we still have the three specializations of heeler tank and DPS? Also will any of the gems upgrade healing spells and or talents?
Do we know whether cross-faction dungeons and raids are enabled the same as in retail?
Was excited because I thought we were getting a chance to get the rare xmog from timed mist dungeons. Guess they will never give use that chance again.
I can't remember the last time I was this genuinely excited for something in WoW but this is awesome. I really really hope this is as good as advertised.

Hi Kelani, is there any news on additional character slots? I have 60 level 70's and I would hate to have to delete one to start time running. thanks in advance :) !
nothing that I've heard of, but hopefully the dev team keeps this in mind and gives us a few extra slots to play with!

If you have 60 level 70's and are afraid to delete any of them, you have bigger problems to worry about than WoW. Namely, not ending up on a future season of Hoarders.
I don't remember where I read this but I think it was a post on wowhead or the original blogpost or something, but it said that we were gonna get extra slots (it didn't say how many)
Do the vendors that sell mounts- toys-gear show what you have already collected from your "standard-main" account or we will need to do rellogs so as to check it out?
I think it will have the same label on the tooltip, like the transmogs says "You have not collected this appearance"
One step further actually. The ensembles told me how many pieces i already had!
Big plus, that I can unlock the transmogs no matter what armour class I play. Does this apply for weapons to?

gonna roll a holy paladin and farm t mog for him and my evoker since they can use the old ones that you can buy so that'll be fun. Really looking forward to it

Please inquire about heritage armor requirements. Is it worth doing a race i dont have to unlock that leveling armor?
I want to know this too, can you unlock the Heritage armor of Allied Races by leveling in this mode?

I can see this being a new evergreen event whenever they have a large gap between expansions or patches. Like a new remix on the x.x.7 patches.
The class gears you would get for completing the dungeons fast enough wont be in the shops?
What I want to know is can we get heritage armour after leveling in the Pandaria remix?
Do you get to choose the realm your character carries over to after the remix?
Mists of Pandaria is the expansion I started with and is one of my favorites. This event alone has me more exited for wow in a long time. Loving that you can get all the transmogs without having to be that class.

Does anyone know if alt characters lvl60+ will be able to participate in this event? Even if its just the raids....already full with Alts
Just want all pets and mounts I didn't get during mop but look like insanely high amount to farm
If nothing else, it'll make leveling an alt fun at least and not boring after the 5th+ time

He said that when the event is ower your toons will be transfered to normal retail, your gear will probly be changed inn stats but thats it. Everything you collect with using bronze coins will be part of your collection. Transmogs, mounts and toys 😊

Everything carries over. Its the same account, and its all account bound progress.

How does this affect keys and raid? Is this a fun thing to do on the side or is this something we have to do for character power? I apologize for what might be a silly question but that wasn't clear to me.
It’s completely separate from retail wow. The only thing that carries over is transmog, toys, mounts, ect. Your currently retail characters aren’t affected at all

So if you have a bunch of lowish level alts, would it be better to just wipe these and restart them?
i guess im going to have to play this. but i dont do alts and makes no sense to re-roll my main so I guess Ill have no choice but to do one. I just dont get why Blizz thinks putting resources towards re-issuing old stuff. Maybe because I played MoP when it was new.

paladin and beast master hunter are the easiest classes in WOW.
i prefer paladin cause you can dps,heal and tank.
evoker is harder but if you prefer range dps its fun.
Question is can we use add-ons and mods?
Is there cross faction dungeons and raids?
Do you need to buy dragonflight to access this new leveling format?
2:41 How do you get this level of control over the minigun turret? It always just moves left and right for me, never up or down at all (let alone smoothly up and down like Kelani has it).
the alliance turret section is a bit more on rails, while the horde one you have full control. Ive never had an issue moving it around

You control camera with right click. Not keybinds and other controls 😂

Everything your character from the event has (besides the unique gems and abilities) will carry over to live servers when it ends.
I mean we already have bags over 30 slots each. Even though I run out of bag space all the time, its one of those things where the problem is me, not a lack of capacity. Playing TBC classic made me realize this.
