New Ness players are the ones to complain about instead of Ness mains as a whole because I'm a Ness main my self but I and fellow experienced Ness mains have a lot of knowledge of the character's attacks, different combos etc.
different types of players aren't a function in the character they play as, it depends on their knowledge about that character.
(sorry if this comment was too long but i just hate when people complain about different mains because they think all of the people who play that character are one single negative steriotype)

Ok so Ness as Thanos is surprisingly great, but it seems like a missed Opportunity that Waluigi is not the main villain that all the smashvengers have to team up against. I mean if half the characters gets snapped, there will be no more struggle over the finite roster slots in the universe. Justice and balance would be restored, Waluigi would finally get to be playable, and others like him would no longer know the misery and irrelevance of being a non-playable character. The motivation is all there.
