I just got back a few weeks ago from my epic trip to the Flinders Ranges, so had to go back and rewatch your 3 Flinders episodes (Liz reminded me of these on your latest episode). What an unbelievable place, the remoteness, the vastness, the silence, the ancient landscape and geology. And the ‘feeling’ of just being there that can’t be captured on film. I felt really small. I stayed at Rawnsley Park station, (around halfway between Hawker and Wilpena) and did all my adventures from there. It was 43 degrees the day I went to Paranchila and Blinman! Do you ever go back and watch old episodes? These are ones that you should, your footage is incredible 😊
I'm so glad to hear that you loved it as much as we do, Robyn. We haven't looked back at these ones for some time, but perhaps we will now you mention it. We will definitely return to the Flinders one day.
Thanks guys for another great episode. You guys are becoming nice and relaxed now in front of the camera and enjoying your sense of humour. Still have a little giggle thinking about the ep with the bike rider😆 and your comments. Safe travels
Love this episode and the area. The old homestead in Wilpena Pound was my Great Aunty and Uncles place. Would you believe got washed out so resettled in Hawker and continued farming there. Love going back to visit. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the vid. My wife and I were in Parachilna 3 years ago and loved it. There will always be something you forget to do in the caravan, trust me I know. Cheers from Ray and Ann Mann
We’re enjoying your flinders ranges episodes . We also have a zone (ZN558) which we collected in May 21. However, we’re caught up at home in Canberra lockdown at the moment so we’re enjoying your flinders ranges episodes (and loved your great ocean road travels too). Sorry to hear about your water issues in this episode. We had been warned by another zoner who’s quite handy. He said not to forget to turn off the pump but also recommended putting an elastic band on each of the taps before going off-road. Good tip for extra insurance. Happy travels, Scott and Thea
Thanks Scott. Glad you're enjoying the vids. Yes, we now turn off the 12v switch each trip and open the tap before we leave to drain any remaining water in the line. 🙌
Love your videos guys! Mum & Dad have ordered the same van as you guys for our next lap. So excited!! Mum said to say “she wants to hear more from Liz on your videos” . Keep on living the dream & keeping it real 👍🎣.
That is awesome! Thanks for the feedback. Let your Mum know there's more of Liz in upcoming episodes, it took a little longer for her to warm to the camera. 😉
Thanks guys for your attention to detail. Your filming is superb. We have just started watching your adventures starting from the 4WD track. Liz did a great job of driving on that track. Will be our first trip and station stay once our hybrid offroad van arrives. What time of the year did you do that trip?👍
Awesome, thank you! Such incredible feedback, it means a lot. We were there in late April/early May, it was a great time of year to visit. Mild days and cool nights, perfect for campfires. 👍
Prefer Rawnsley Park Station. A bit of trivia about the Flinders ranges they have been studied and aged by scientists and geologists they have worked out that they were 10 times as tall as they are now.
Just watching some of the oldies:D We love the northern Flinders!! Thanks for sharing
Glad you like them!

That's good to know. We're thinking about heading to Rawnsley Park next time.
