Fantastic tutorial on Azure AI Search(Azure Cognitive Search)! This step-by-step guide is incredibly helpful for anyone looking to integrate Azure AI Search with Azure SQL Database. I especially appreciated the detailed section on creating and configuring indexes-made it clear and manageable. It's great to see practical applications and demo queries in action. Could you elaborate on how Azure Cognitive Search can be optimized for larger datasets? Thanks for this insightful resource! #AzureAI #DataScience #TechTutorial

It would be very helpful to understand how to add a vector field(s) from an Azure SQL data source to the index to support semantic search in addition to the keyword search you demoed

Is it possible to map only one table for indexing. In real life scenario search needs to pick data from multiple tables using joins right? So, AI search cannot help there?

Yes. using Portal we can do simple scenario but for complex scenario we can use API and use from any compute such as Function, synapse, ADF etc.

    Great one 🕶
when I try it in azure , it says "Azure OpenAI Service is currently available to customers via an application form. The selected subscription has not been enabled for use of the service, but you can continue to use other AI services available in this product."
how did you manage to proceed with Hotmail account as it is not accepted in approval process ?

you dont need azure open AI service for azure search. you can search by name.
