I would have to say that the best versions of Magneto in animation would have to be from X-Men: The Animated series (voiced by the recently deceased David Hemblen), X-Men: Evolution (voiced by Christopher Judge of Stargate SG-1 fame), & Wolverine and the X-Men (voiced by Tom Kane who almost sounded like Ian McKellen's take of Magneto in the live-action films).
I'd say I like the armor design of XM:Evolution the most, but the half-shadowed face under his helmet of XM:TAS is sick. Wish there was a mix between those.

Magneto is a special kind of villain. There are technically a few like, Poison Ivy, Dr Freeze, Dr Doom, (I guess Black Adam since DC made him a copy of Dr Doom now), for example are villains who have goals that would be considered good. But their methods of achieving that goal are what make them evil.
