I'm very disappointed how the writers did Malakai and Amerie in season 2 they belong together and for them to have Malakai be in a relationship with a guy and for Amerie to fall for that same guy smdh🤷
Honestly I don’t ship them two. I used to love Malakwi but the writers messed him up in season 1 when he had a threesome with dusty and harper. And told the guys about him and Amerie sleeping together

It was so sweet for Malachi to care and be there for Amerie, but I feel like their relationship was being forced in Season 2. Malachi went through a lot in Season 1 that he wasn't completely the same anymore. Yes, they love and care about each other, but they don't belong together, even if they end up together it won't last. They should just be friends. "In reality" They would be on & off all the time till they start hating each other for hurting each other and that would be even sadder.
Even when they not together they were amicable..the feeling was still there..yes a lot of things happened to him abut it's very much workable..they will be alright...the writers really fucked them over with police brutality - threedome incident..and the bad communication Nagle in season 2...fucking spider is getting consistent writing but not them
The thing is I don’t even think Rowan was into guys he just intentionally seduced Malakai because he had a vendetta against Amerie which then made Malakai look like a bad guy but they always loved each other, they never stopped
I watched a video of Malakai crying on the plane and Amerie having the abortion only a bit of it and I almost cried I didn’t finish season2 when I watched them 😭😭
