You probably already know this but you can still wear/ like something even if it’s not trendy anymore :) ps. If you’re unsure of what you want to keep/ toss then maybe just toss everything you forgot about or put stuff in a bag for a week or two to prove you don’t miss it and then after you may feel better about getting rid of those items xx

TOSS everything. I cleared out my closet as well, the clothes you give away or sell will be loved and worn by someone else :), trust, I feel better ab the clear space in my closet with the actual pieces I love to wear

I’ve read that a good measure of what to keep and what to donate is that if you haven’t worn it in a year, do t keep it. I had a relative who tried to guilt anyone out of ever giving anything away - he was a total hoarder of all things - and it’s been kind of hard for me to get over. Even if something is new, if you haven’t worn it, it’s okay to give it away because someone else can use and love it, where if you keep it in your closet, it’s just gathering dust.
I’ve had to use this mindset with a lot of my craft supplies because I’m sort of a crafter who often buys supplies that I intend to use but don’t always end up doing so. My former neighbor had a little girl who just loves crafts and it gave me great joy to let her have a lot of my unused stuff because she was so delighted by it.
Your closet looks wonderful at the end of the video. You are very inspiring!

It may help for you to turn all your hangers the opposite way and then when you wear it wash etc put it on the hanger to hang up the other way and that way you will know what you have worn and haven’t and also putting it furthest away so that your clothes are cycling around a bit .
Also sorting by color and season and long sleeve shirt etc
Brandy girl shirt -> KEEP
"Peek-a-boo" long shirt -> TOSS
White+brown+light blue+light green striped shirt -> TOSS
Light pink+baby blue cardigan -> KEEP(if you like cardigan you can't button it up since this cardigan doesn't have buttons on it)or TOSS(if you like cardigans you want to button up)
Zara pink dress shirt -> KEEP

Heyy, i love your cleaning video like this, it always motivate me so much, i had to declutter and get rid of some clothes that doesnt fit me anymore or i dont wear, what i do is that i dont buy clothes often, i buy every 2 to 3 years , however i do really really need new clothes for summer and winter this time 🎀🤍😊 peace.

2: would I buy this again if I lost it or didn't have it?

I so feel you on the age thing nobody ever thinks I’m the age I’m at I’m 37 and people think I’m 18 and I’m like nope try again 😅 I also say the shirt you wanted opinion on def keep looks like it be super cute to you! I always say if things aren’t even in style anymore I keep as long as I like it and it fits well then that’s what matters lol. I also need to do a clean out with my closet it’s very small so it isn’t too bad I just have to do the top shelf of mine to declutter I’m a procrastinator I love to clean and be neat but when it’s time to do it I dread lol. I'd suggest you trying selling stuff you haven't worn. While it might not be on trend, someone else might really like it and get use out of it. And then you could make some money. If the clothes don't sell, then you could donate them to a women's shelter or similar place.
