What Izrael has learned is that no matter what they do, the US will always find a way to justify it and provide political cover for them. So it's not really unthinkable that Izrael's overreach may push it toward expanding to other neighboring region. Though I honestly don't think it's sustainable.
The US wont support them if they go to far which is why even if Isreal retorics are insane their actions are controlled, but I doubt they even considered attacking Turkey.
