Tsukuru was literally everywhere this year. Someone send that man on a holiday :p
I remember this boulder well and we thought it was as impossible until Sorato and Toby found the toe hook 😅 awesome setting and super good video!!!
So happy to have found this channel. Setters have such a unique skill within climbing!
fav boulder of the season too, thank you
Good stuff, thanks Niklas 🔥🙌
Thank you so much ! Great content 🔥
Amazing video! Thanks for such a great content❤
Very watchable, as usual! (ps, I think you need to update the text in the sub-header, it refers to Stefan being the featured setter, not Tsukuru.)
thanks so much for the heads up! glad you enjoyed it
Its really interesting to see the lack of eyeglasses do they just not give a shit :D?
Genuinely never once seen setters wear safety glasses, certainly not at a World Cup. I can imagine it would be quite annoying to have them on all day, they often work 12 hours a day if not more. Same with hearing protection - I think ideally you'd want that too if you're drilling all day, but then you have to keep taking it off to talk to others.
@@mayawitters I would usually agree with you but after having to deal with metal flakes in my eyes the glasses always stay by my side
@@kaspa14 I think it's definitely the wiser choice, but I can see why it's impractical too. Unless the IFSC sets an industry standard, I think it's unlikely to be adopted.
from experience I can say with confidence, that ifsc setters usually don't give a crap about safety measures and oftentimes are the scetchiest people to work with
