New O/O here & I just picked up my first truck it's a 07 XL with a C15 6NZ. My truck is currently at freightliner getting brand new suspension put on. I agree there's no better feeling than knowing the truck is yours. I appreciate this video & good job on getting it fixed by yourself bro! I learned something new
Network yourself and find a trustworthy diesel mechanic in your city. Avoid big shops if possible. Plus 9/10 you can find a video on UA-cam how to diy! Recommend don’t panic when you break down ,think then repair. Good luck
Detroit Series 60 . DDEC 3 / 4. Carry a ( SRS ) Synchronous Sensor and a ( TRS ) Timing Reference Sensor . If your truck fails to start it may be the SRS , located above the air compressor . The ECM power fuse is in the battery box .Once helped a friend 150 miles from home on Christmas, no parts available . Strapped a wheel barrel style air compressor to the frame rails and attached air line . Carry a spare alternator with pulley and belt . Glad you got moving !
That happened to me while at the dock. I took the top part of the compressor and cleaned really good. There is a piston in there and it gets stuck sometimes. 12.7 Detroit goes too many compressor
Still better then being towed and paying some one to fix it. Doesn't matter you lost two days doing it but you fixed it and saved money. Probably you would lose 2days at shop and plus paying double more. Sretno 😉☺
Why I'm no longer an owner op. One break down will bankrupt you. I blew out my radiator in Virginia. 2 winters ago. Had to get towed to Maryland $4000 later. Never again.

Good job. I was wondering why that part is particular to Freightliner. I thought any Detroit dealer would have it.
Damn, you can drive and shift that semi like a boss.
Your truck it's old even when you rebuild your engine...always there's something broken
Those Jake Brakes 😮💨💪🏾🔥
Zdravo brate! It takes a different breed to be OP in this market. Glad to see you got the beast fixed and rolling. Be safe.
That’s true for sure, pozdrav tebi sretno gdje god bio
Crystal clear on the new mic😊
Great job done, even with the mistakes you can be proud! Humble and teaching others about DIY life. Thanks for taking us along!
Yeah, I think another guy mentioned this too - unloader valve on the top of the compressor, bet that was the problem to start with
Good job brother 🎉

So sorry about that happening to you!! 😢... Seems like any time a warranty goes out on no matter what, BAM!!! item shuts off! Stay safe OT ROOKIE. 🙏💙
Ej jarane da sam te vidio tu na loves bilo bi mi drago da ti pomognem, zivim tu blizu 5 minuta
Za ubuduće, fala ko da si ga zamjeno samnom
You are fortunate that you can do a lot of the work yourself. Imagine if you had labor costs added to that.
Good job Rasim!

Things Break on Trucks and some things you can Control and Other things you Can’t. 🤔👎
A lot of time, it's the unloader valve. Pretty easy fix.

Really love the engine braking
If you don't mind me asking, what was your gross last year?
Not enough haha
You know there not going to accept that as a core who didn't you just tap and thread it
and thats why companies buy new trucks and get rid of them in 2 years....
Yeah but they are driven by multiple pakis literally 24/7 and have over a million miles on them in those 2 years
