"If you ain't got no haters you ain't poppin"? - I don't agree. Here's why.

Here is something that I have been wanting to break down a little and its this idea that, "if you aint got no haters you aint popping" how divisive this language is and reasoning why we should stop saying it as a way to motivate folks to keep pushing towards their goals. I hope this resonates!

Morgan, this video and your commentary is why I am a loyal subscriber! I have never been okay with the word "hater" since the word was created. I could never understand why people ever felt the need to acknowledge such behavior. To focus your energy on this is completely counterproductive in my opinion. Our people seem to have embraced this notion over the past few decades blindly and unknowingly creating their own division amongst our community. It is a mental attack in an effort to break us down even further. And, unfortunately, it seems to have worked! So at this point, I love that you have brought awareness to this and really hope it reaches the masses. Personally, I don't listen to music nearly as much as I use to due to the negative narrative if the lyrics. I stick to more jazz with no lyrics than anything else. The power of music is way too persuasive and pervasive. But again, thanks for the intellectual stimulation. Peace & blessings! ❤
