You inspired me! I wanted to add a second wire rod this year so I picked up a streamside dipsy rod ,slide diver and a couple hot fish flashers!
Fingers crossed I get a 42 lber this year!

What exact tubing do you use on this set up and where did you get it. Thanks!

I’m using torpedo 30lb 7 strand wire and suffix 832 65lb braid and tying with an improved albright knot however it seems that the wire is cutting into the braid and breaking it at the knot. I could go with a swivel but trying to find something strong enough but will still go through the roller guides is tough. Any suggestions?

What size braid are you using? I use 60-70lb braid and don’t have issues. I do re-tie it about once in the middle of the season which takes 5 mins..

@@KingsLandingSportFishing I was using 65lb braid. I just decided to use a small swivel instead.

Would that work with mono, or would the wire cut through the mono?

I find that the mono cuts the wire which is why I use braid.

I noticed you didn’t put a piece of tubing under the arm? Do you have any problem of the diver sliding down the line without tubing under the arm?

@@timh8257 He must have forgot to show that. The diver will 100% slip without it.
