Israel has hit a residential area in the southern suburbs of Lebanon’s capital, Beirut in an attempted assassination of senior Hezbollah commander Ibrahim Aqil.
Hezbollah confirmed Aqil was killed on Friday, hours after the Israeli military said it had “eliminated” him in the attack on the Dahiyeh area.
