One of your worst reviews ever. Does it project directly into your pupil? Is it a screen like the oculus ? Did you experience any eye strain? Was it high resolution and clear? Could you read text using it? I literally learnt nothing more than it has rumbling headphones.
the tech quality of UB has given way to "comedy" unfortunately - used to be much better :( hope they can get back on track as it was a good show.

There are several possible ways he could be getting access to these products (if you knew anything about channels and vendor relationships or revenue models happening behind the scenes at youtube, you'd know this). Both serve different purposes. A VR headset is great for playing games but at the moment, the resolution is too low for movies. VR headsets can also be too big for comfort or for using in public. I hope they get smaller and higher res soon because the movie theater enviroments in VR are phenomenal.

It is understandable the way you are feeling, but you have to remember his videos are unboxings. His channel is literally called unbox therapy. So really he doesn't have to provide any information at all. He could just show you what is in the box, which is what unboxings are meant for, yet he still does provide a little information.

A few details could be mentioned about the actual product but the point of an Unboxing is to show you what's inside. Usually a channel will do an Unboxing, and then do a review. The Unboxing once again shows what it comes with and what you will see when you unbox a certain product. Details could be given but aren't necessary. A review is where you actually go in depth with the product and says all that it does and things like that.
I actually bought a Vision-800 personal theatre and I use it as a teleprompt for my UA-cam channel. It will soon have a bigger brother with double the battery and a 98 inch binocular vision screen. The next step up is definite the GLYPH. Thanks for this video man. Stay awesome

I own one it's fucking awesome. I even use it with hdmi smart computer sticks like the intel stick and an air mouse/keyboard or I use finger tracking with the Leap finger tracking system. Just add a power bank and its like a full blown wearable computing experience. Or you can obviously use it for gaming or streaming on the go or at home. I even wear big glasses and it works awesome honestly. Love this this device.

Sony tried something like this in the late 1990s, so it’s not a new concept, but it’s still cool seeing a modernized version of this.
This is certainly not the worlds first portable theater. Back in the mid 90's a company named Virtual i/o out of Seattle developed the first 3D virtual reality headset complete with headphones. I was the mechanical engineer for this project and still have a new unit in the box never opened. This unit came with a translucent set of combiner lens with an attachable blast shield for total immersive and came with a head tracker for playing the ole game of Doom. It is like viewing a 60 inch screen at 8 feet away. So please, do your homework!
I love this channel even though the average consumer can't afford majority of the tech that's shown on here. But fun to watch nonetheless.

This is definitely not the first. Sony did this in the 90s. They debuted at the Sony store at the Metreon Theater in San Francisco, and were for sale at almost $1000. I was there. I handled them. They were white.
