Continuing to walk on the city center strip, visitors will encounter an architectural work that looks from afar like "Water Pavilion", "Poetry Pavilion" or "Lau Vong Nguyet"... of traditional architecture with many Brightly colored flowers are on sale. That is the Flower Shop. This project was built by the French in 1944, including 5 flower shops located on a straight axis with an area of 300m²; Each shop is 6m apart, has an area of about 20m², and is nearly 4m high. The shop is designed with 4 ironwood columns creating a balanced position; The rafting system is the simplicity of the "stack of beams" style; 4 roofs covered with dragon scale tiles with a ridge shaped like a 4-petal lemon flower radiating out to 4 sides; The strip running from the roof down forms a sharp angle rising high and curving. This is an attractive destination for those who love flowers and want to enjoy the beauty.
Right next to the City Fine Arts and Exhibition Center is Le Chan flower garden, where the statue of female general Le Chan - a talented general in the Hai Ba Trung uprising of the 1st century (40 - 43) - who came to the area, is located. Land at the junction of Tam Bac River - Cam River established Ven hamlet, later changed to An Bien Trang, the predecessor of the city. Hai Phong today. This project is one of the symbols of Hai Phong city, started construction on November 30, 1999 and inaugurated on December 31, 2000. The statue is cast in bronze, 7.5m high, weighs 19 tons, painted black, placed on a granite pedestal suitable for landscape architecture. In the flower garden campus, there is also an artistic fountain built by the city and inaugurated on May 13, 2005 along with 2 fountains in the City Theater square area and Nguyen Van Troi flower garden. ❤️❤️
