    Wow. Terrific Info. Not sure why there are so many haters out there. If you frequently camp, 1000 Trails looks like the way to go!

    Great video. I think TT zone pass is a no brainer. If you go out at least 11 nights, it’s pretty much gonna pay for itself. Who can’t go camping 11 nights? Less than 2 weeks! Can’t go wrong. Only thing I would add, is it’s my understanding that you can stay 4 nights and not have to leave the system. Not 3. I have several 4 night hops booked 😂

      Thank you for watching and your comment. We totally agree it’s a no brainer. You’re right you can stay 4 nights.

    Thanks for the video! Is there a pass that doesn't require you to spend 7 days outside of the parks after a Visit?
    Or a pass that let's you spend more that 2 weeks at 1 location?
    Thanks for your time! 😊

      Yes. The best way to get all of the correct information is to talk to a Membership Specialist we love Jo & Pat Parizo they are real people. Call or text and tell them Patti sent you. They may have some extra perks for you.

    14 days straight ? Is that allowed now I’m
    Being told you can only stay 7 and then you have to wait 14 days before returning…

      There are different TT memberships and they have had different rules. But the membership now is 14 days and 7 days out. You can get all of your questions answered by a membership specialist. We really like Jo & Pat Parizo can call or text. Tell them Dan & Patti sent you.

    I am curious to get some feedback from actual customers, how hard is it to actually book sites with the 60 day window on this pass? It seems like if you are not full time camping the only benefit of the big upcharge for the other memberships is a longer booking window. Well how saturated are the parks cause I tested it out over the summer and bought a camping pass in early August after confirming both campgrounds in Massachusetts had sites listed you could rent for nightly rates. After buying the pass the member login had no sites for a single weekend from August to October when NE parks close. I cancelled and got refunded but seems like its only worth it if you can book sites.

      We had the camping pass and it worked well for us. I’m not sure where you were trying to book but I have been across the country 3 times and have been able to book campgrounds.

      @@ExploringThroughOurLens Thanks, I really think the other memberships are just glorified timeshare scams as you still pay yearly fees but see some value in the camping pass even if its a 12 month pass for a region that the sites are not open 12 months. I could get a value if I could book a weekend a month at a local park and a 1 week trip as a destination.

      @@skateguy50 I thought it was going to be a time sharish scam but with all fees we pay about $9 a night so I am loving it.

    Great video. As a Canadian, i am interested in Maine and Florida, Can I choose Maine as my first zone? I think there are TT in Canada, and at this time, not interested in this area. With one or 2 zones, can you upgrade to the trails package during the first year?

    • @ExploringThroughOurLens
      @ExploringThroughOurLens  Рік тому +1

      I’m so glad you liked the video.
      While I’m not the expert on TT, I do know you can have Maine which includes other states in the NorthEast, as your first zone. You can then add zones and upgrade. We started with a zone then bought 2 others and then upgraded. I wish we had spoken to our rep Jim before we bought the other zones because we could have saved money.
      I always recommend speaking to a rep and getting all of the correct answers before moving forward. Jim is happy to speak to you and there’s never any pressure. Let me know if there is anything else we can help with.

      @@ExploringThroughOurLens I will absolutely get in touch with Jim. I am not a time share person at all. But TT seems to make financial sense. I am concerned with the availability for ex. if i bought a 2 zone pass, paid in full, went on TT site to book moody beach in Maine, and it had no availability, could i cancel the membership?

    • @ExploringThroughOurLens
      @ExploringThroughOurLens  Рік тому

      @@lisacomeau720 When we started we had the one zone and I had that same thought, that I wasn't going to be able to book and if I couldn't book I wanted to cancel. For us we were able to book and stay for over a week and then stay at another place after that and we continued to be able to stay and it didn't take long for the zone pass to more than pay for itself. We were very happy and we upgraded our membership which was a great decision for us. But it depends on parts of the country and times of the year. It's a great question for Jim.

    Question, can you jump from Thousand Trails to encore. so for instance let say i am in a thousand trails park for 14 days can i go straight to the encore park?

      I believe it depends on the kind of membership you have.

    • @ExploringThroughOurLens
      @ExploringThroughOurLens  Рік тому

      I just checked with the member rep I work with, and he said if you are in an Encore pare for even 1 night you have to be out for 7 nights.

    • @hollynauss6359
      @hollynauss6359 4 місяці тому +1

      Our rep said that with a camping pass you can go park to park as long as each stay was 4 nights or less. He suggested that one could add on the trails collection and end a bunch of 4 nights at TT parks with a 14 night stay at a Trails Collection/encore park, before needing to spend 7 nights completely out of the TT/encore systems. That's a lot of traveling, but people do it that way, especially if they can get reservations at parks close to one another. We are considering doing this!

    • @maylin1986
      @maylin1986 3 місяці тому

      @hollynauss6359 So, adding the trails collection gives you breathing room to extend stays from 4 nights to 14 days? If I'm reading this correctly. 🤔
      Now, I'm hesitant to get the Thousand trails if all you're really getting is 4 days a campground. But I played this video for just a moment to come back to watch tomorrow morning. Thank you for this insight.
