  • I recently decorated our spare bathroom, transforming it from a boring and tired space, to a quiet place of peace, and tranquility, with a touch of Tropical Paradise.

JB, love the ladder/plant hanger, how did you secure to ceiling?

Thanks. I used some rather large plasterboard fixings, and then screwed some hooks in. The bamboo ladder is very light, so there's not too much weight.

Just watched your 2019 video reviewing Dulux Easycare paint. I've just bought ten litres for a room 220cm H x 340cm W x 400cm L but need to dilute a bit for priming walls that are a little patchy in places on all four walls, so plan on priming the whole room.
I really haven't got a clue as to what dilution quantities to use, or even if I've got enough paint? Total beginner here 😢
I'd be so grateful if you could put my mind at rest ❤

Sounds like enough paint. You only need to dilute it if the walls are not previously painted, or the walls are newly plastered. If you dilute the paint, you only need to add a small amount of water, I would do 1 water : 5 paint
You can email me a picture of the wall if you like

I'm cringing here because I have another question! Last one, I promise!
We diluted the paint for its very first coat which dried a little patchy in places, but went on like a dream. Next coat we did undiluted and it has a nice sheen, has evened up, and looks 'full'. Do I need to put another coat on? Because essentially you could argue that the diluted coat was the primer coat and the second is only the mid coat.
Impressed with the coverage and opacity of this stuff, despite the fact that some people say opacity isn't great. Would appreciate your thoughts. Many thanks 😊
