    What an incrediable annoyance. One of the most beautiful episodes commented upon two guys mimicking Beavis and Butthead.

    Yes. Two guys trying to out due each other being clowns. Just stick to your solo act with Rod Serling's material!

      lol Chad is a good time when watching stuff. I get that Twilight Zone is a different animal all together and should be looked at with a more serious view, with some fun in the mix. Chad only makes one appearance this season. Thanks for the comment.

      I mean I understand it now and it wasn't a bad episode, just some of the dialogue was odd, like asking if 1.5 miles is walking distance or the main character was still confused that he walked into the past, just an odd choice, but the story and messaging was still good. lol I already wish I could go back to my youth, I don't think you need to be 60 to understand it. I mean the main character was 36.

      @Coogan Sadly I didn't realize it was him but I know Ron Howard from Andy Griffith and watched every episode of that show and Happy Days, its just The Twilight Zone I've missed many episodes of.

    Brilliant choice of material. This is one of my favorite episodes. The constant mocking was about the fastest way to turn me off your channel.

    8:49- Notice the "How're ya' fixed for blades?" advertising sign on the drugstore wall? That's "Sharpie the Parrot", selling Gillette razor blades. Ironically, "THE TWILIGHT ZONE" was opposite the final season of NBC's "GILLETTE CAVALCADE OF SPORTS" on Friday nights {on the night this was originally telecast- October 30, 1959- Gillette's "fight of the week" featured Florentino Fernandez vs. Gaspar Ortega at Madison Sqaure Garden; it's posted on UA-cam}.

    This episode was personal for Rod Serling.
    The merry-go-round is still in Serling's hometown of Binghamton NY. (Inside a building now, with scenes from Twilight Zone shows around it)

    Classic episode this is one of my favorites it really hits me in the feels lol my head canon is the gas station attendant near the hometown is actually the little boy the adult Martin meets. Here is my reasoning 36 year old Martin from 1959 returns to Homewood in 1935, the kid looks to be around 5-7 and the gas station guy is late twenties maybe 30 so timeline matches up and is very Twilight Zoney thing to do that they interact twice without realizing it but the "other Martin" doesn't go back in time (probably because his father gave the kid Martin the same advice) therefore breaking the time loop

    @fromthesidelines 12 днів тому

    9:14-
    MARTIN: "No. As a matter of fact, I got it falling off a merry-go-round when I was a kid........here. Freak thing......."
    SODA JERK: "Oh, a merry-go-round. Hey, I remember! They tore that down a few years ago. Condemned it! A little late, I guess, huh?"
    MARTIN: "Huh?"
    SODA JERK: ""Little late for you, I mean."
    MARTIN: (regretfully) "Yeah, very late. *Very* late for me......."

    I'm sorry you guys didn't enjoy this episode... this is actually my favorite of the entire series. It might be generational. I'm only one generation removed from the main character, my childhood was more like his present, but I was close enough that this episode has always meant a lot to me. I've really enjoyed your first four reactions to TZ so I'm more than happy to continue the journey with you. We all resonate with different stories and I look forward to seeing which ones become your favorites!

    No wonder you guys don't have any views or reach so far on this... You approached every single thing with stupid comedy. This was one of the best episodes of the season about nostalgia and missing being a child in the burden of adulthood and responsibilities and wanting to be a kid again.

    Ah. You're twice removed cousin of Mystery Science Theater. A stark contrast to the more thoughtful prior episodes. Serling had some issues with this episode as well. Some things got in he didn't have time to change.
