Thanks so much for another great flosstube, or as my other half said, ‘Are you going to watch another sloth?’ Love the finish of the Gingerbread House and the Quaker Snowflakes is gorgeous. I was going to say, just keep on enjoying your stitching and not worry about targets and SALs, but it isn’t ‘just’, the whole point is the joy stitching brings. If that makes sense. Whatever you do I’m sure there will be plenty of content for every episode. 🥰👍🏻
Your finish on the Gingerbread House looks lovely! As for doing all the little stitches on the one big piece or individually….for me it would depend on if I have the wall space for one big piece….. Thank you for being you, it makes my day😊
I stitched the Fall on the Farm all on one. I guess to my way of thinking, I'd stitch it in the way you want to finish it...the Frosty Forest. If you want a bunch of smalls, do them individually. If you want a wall piece, stitch it on one piece of fabric. Each square is a finish, you know! 😊 Love the Liz Matthews finish. I stitched that one too, also without the words.
Thank you for another great show. Never worry about content for your flosstube. I come because it's sitting with a friend and having a chat. I answer you when watching and sometimes I answer in the comments. It's about enjoying the journey of stitching and you share that. Don't loose your enthusiasm of stitching because of needing content. You are more than enough. ❤
What a grand finish and the lacing will go well. So happy that Santa is out of the bin. 2025 is the year of "Doing what I want to do." Being selfish sometimes is a healthy thing. I can see how Floss tube videos can enable one beyond what is good. Doing the little ones on one piece is a good thing. So says the 80 year old from this end of the world. Minnesota is no 6 above zero and it feels like -28. Sending love and support.
Yay!!! Your house looks just perfect!! So, you had the time to go through the teaching video, yes? Wow! Fireworks - maybe they agreed with the nurge killing you fab's ;D Imagine that; your can do what you want!! And if you need assurance, just put on your biggirlpants :D The cotton and twine box is wonderful! Have fun stitching it - and of course all else you are going to stitch on
I love how you say someone is enabling you as you’re standing there twisting our arms as well 😅 After all this time I thought I’d learned when it was safe to take a sip of my coffee…nope… around swung the Big Girl Panties Chair and spew went my coffee 😂 You’re finishing is lovely and I always enjoy seeing what your stitching.
you should definitely be proud of the gingerbread house finish! it turned out great, and the buttons add so much charm! creativity is indeed just intelligence having fun; thanks for the reminder Sherrie (:
What do you mean you are no good at finishing? The gingerbread house sewing book is beautiful and don’t get me started on your finish of the stars!! Absolutely stunning.
I came here to say exactly that!!! The Stacy Nash piece is brilliant!! And your choices of "garnishments" are inspiring. I'm gonna need to do that one now.
You can do what ever you want so stitch away!! Keep breathing (always helps😂) absolutely love your gingerbread house xxx love the little match girl and I have the disturbed women completed and my family agree that’s me 😂😂
Oh men!!! hahahaha The needle book is gorgeous. The buttons you added are beautiful. You really put your big girl pants. You started 2025 with a lot of energy. Progress is progress.
Your finishes are so good you are too hard on yourself. I love your floss tube. You make me laugh so much. Just do whatever you want . I'll be watching, sewing, with my cup of tea and enjoying the pieces you show.
I will greatly enjoy joining you in your “loose” 2025. I always stitch what I want, but I only stitch one (or two, tops) things at a time. It makes me very nervous to have many things vying for my attention. Since I only start things I really want to stitch and complete, I’m quite happy in my monogamous stitching world. I do allow myself to kit up many things, however. The call of my kitted projects helps me to achieve finishes more quickly. That said, as another loose woman with my big girl panties, I salute you! Carol in TX
Sherrie, you are great at finishing. It’s all a journey and there is nothing wrong with those lovely finishes you shared on this episode. Gingerbread House Pinkeep is just beautiful and I really like the adaptations you made for trim and finishing it. Quaker Snowflakes is stunning, especially on your choice for fabric. Just lovely. Keep doing what you do and don’t be so hard on your self.
My 2025 goals are to have a rotation of stitching; a Christmas/ winter, 4th of July/summer, Halloween/Thanksgiving and one red thread on the go through out the year. I will also stitch smalls that are in season like Valentine’s Day, Easter and gifts. I feel the need to work on and finish all the patterns I’ve accumulated or live past 100. So Sherrie, keep working on those holiday stitches! We will watch no matter what you decide to stitch! 😘
Love your videos, Sherri! The spontaneous fireworks had me crying/laughing 🤣 Your Stacy Nash gingerbread house is the prettiest I have seen -- gorgeous!
Fabulous flosstube! Love your finish on the Stacy Nash needle book. The Winter Quaker is beautiful, love, love it. I still haven't started Winter Rose Manor yet. I have just too many things I'm trying to start and SAL's I want to participate in. Then, I lost about a week of stitching. My hubby shared his sickness with me. We've had several inches of snow, a couple of different times this past week. Love the white stuff. My two little dogs sound like your cats. I should have lots of time to stitch, in the evenings, but with the doggie, it really cuts that time down. I'm still watching your last wip parade. Good luck on the 3 gifts a month.😅 Nashville Market is coming up.
Having just gone through one ❄️ snowstorm and one ⛄️ snow I absolutely do see the frosty morn or melting snow and I love the look of your blessing sampler.
Hi Sherrie, you make me laugh so much - it is a joy to watch you. I am sooooooooooooo impressed with your Snow Queen and wondered what fabric you used. This may be a 2025 start for me amongst all the other beautiful things I want to stitch. Keep on with your big pants - I love a pair of back warmers. Love Helen. xxxx
Hi Sherrie! I think your finishing skills are outstanding! I love the sewing book and the special touches you added. Congrats on the finishing of the Liz Matthews winter Quaker piece. I think I will adopt your purchasing restrictions in that I will be more intentional with my purchases and not buy every little pattern that catches my fancy. I already have way more than I could possibly stitch in a lifetime. 😉❤️
Laughing with you from Dallas, Texas! You and Momma loves you GB are part of my Sunday morning routine! Could not start the day without you! I’m with you about refocusing my stitching for me especially as I have been unable to stitch since November ( pinched a nerve in my neck). I was going to try 25 in 25 because every one is doing that but don’t think that is possible so I’m going to live vicariously through you and the other floss tubers and just be happy with what I get done…. Keep up the stories and sewing!
Beautiful Gingerbread House and Quaker Snowflakes! Love spending my Sunday morning seeing what you’ve gotten up to and the fireworks! I’ve done the Littlehouse stitches both individually and just did the Log Cabin Christmas in one piece and thoroughly enjoyed it - it was not as big as I thought it would be and they still stitched up fairly quickly. I ended up finishing it as a wall hanging. It was a lot less finishing when it was done. Have a great week!
Hi Sherrie, Happy New Year!!!! My bank manager is absolutely howling at the moment!!!!! Spent a small fortune on Ebay on myself for my 60 birthday!!!!!!
Your patterns and work are fantastic. I agree with Noreen, it’s your work, no one else’s and I always get such a good laugh, several so great laugh. 😊 37:3837:39
Another great video! I love your finished needle book. Maybe a plum dress for the woman on The Little Match Girl. Take care and I look forward to our next visit.
Love your floss tube's Sherri, they are down to earth and make me laugh! Your stitching is beautiful needless to say you make me want to stitch all the things! Hope you had snow ,I am in Canada and can send plenty over to you if it helps brighten your day!!! 😆🌧☃
Oh yes Sherrie the chap is correct about us being too intelligent to be bored. Even the screen display agreed with him😂! Your reaction to that one was so funny. I don't join in SALs as I don't like having to stitch something on a timescale and generally make gifts when there isn't a finishing date or I stop enjoying it and lose the love which I try and put into each gift. Stash was overwhelming me when I couldn't stitch much due to an injury last year and had to ditch my 2024 plans so I can't justify any spending when I overspent during Covid and it's still waiting for me to use it!
Your FFO and finish are fabulous! I told myself I would be more mindful of my spending this year - think I'm starting again with that goal in February....
Errrrr your finishing is spot on young lady ! That needlebook is gorgeous! Every week you have me giggling away you are by far my favourite flosstuber! However we do need to talk about something ! ....the polystyrene is that how u spell it omg I can't handle it i see you starting to get the board out I'm like Nooooooo ! Makes me shiver hairs stand up on me arms lol pmsl see you next week x
I've just signed up for the subscription and in doing so lost the bloody long comment I've been 'writing'🤬. I may watch again but then again I may not lol. The gingerbread sewing book is a fabulous finish Sherrie👍, you're talking out your backs### when you say you can't do finishing. Radiator man... only you lol. The firework was a bit spooky lol. You had a great week stitchywise. I never get bored, fed up maybe but never bored, does that make me intelligent, smart, flamboyant....? Lol😂. Have a good week my Dear🤗
Hi Sherrie, Your gingerbread sewing house finish is gorgeous. 😍How about a little blue dress for the little match girl? I look forward to seeing what colour you choose. Look after yourself ❤
Love your Stacy Nash Gingerbread House finish ❤ I’m still working on mine but I’m determined to get it done asap. I’m going to Cowslip too…maybe we can all take ours with us and create a little village ❤
Hi Sherrie great to see you again and wow the finishes are beautiful ….. on the buying front I am having a no spend January on anything I want still buying the needs but it’s not easy Amazon is my biggest problem 😂especially in the middle of the night ……Happy stitching enjoy your week and keep those big girl pants handy x
I've really been buying Stacey Nash charts recently like they were going out of fashion! Your Gingerbread house is gorgeous and all the better for your own additions 😊 Completely agree about Nurge hoops, I got one but it damaged the fabric so it went in the bin, talk about grip of iron! As ever, lovely stitching and you made me laugh as usual too....off to go watch more flu tube 😅
Good luck with your purchasing curb! I’m aiming to stitch from stash this year (well at least until my retreat in September) 😂. Your flosstubes are always so very entertaining ❤❤
Me again today. Just wanted to echo your feeling about the stress some flosstube goals can impart. I returned to stitching in 2021 Or late 2020 and found myself feeling I needed to stitch all the things I saw on flosstude. After a while I realized I did not always enjoy some of the things I started because others were doing them. I started to stitch what I want to when I want to and try not to get sucked into other people’s goals. I think you have it right about stitching for you and that is what matters most.
Hello my friend! Well Stacey Nash finish bit of a Bobbie dazzler isn’t it! I think you better at finishing than you think! And that Liz Matthew’s! gorgeous! Love all your stitching choices this week so wintry. Re match girl why don’t you do the dress in a like a wintry blue (your fave colours and matches the winter vibe) whatever you decide it’s going to be gorgeous!! 🧵💗
Loved the video as always such a joy to watch. I was wondering if you could put a photo in on your lowrey and light set up, i have one and cant seem to get it right and i am a visual person so a photo would be lovely. Thanks so much Sherrie love your work
Whether you bead at the end or as you go depends on what your stitching it in. The only way to bead as you go and not destroy your beads is on a scroll frame or a hoop big enough to stitch the entire project. If you have to move the hoop or q snap then chances are the beads can be crushed or pulled off. By the looks you will have to move the hoop around so I'd definitely leave beading to the end.
You always make me laugh!! Congrats on your finishes!!! Well done!! I have a couple of Nurge hoops, and I do use them. BUT - I'll ONLY use them if my entire design fits inside the hoop and I will NEVER have the hoop fit on top of my stitches; for the same reasons you mentioned. And I have heard horror stories about damage to both stitches and linen. Just not worth it to me, so I stick with my traditional old style hoops for everything else. Till next time. Steph x
I was talking the other day about when does it stop being "I fell over" and starts being "I had a fall"? Like is there a specific age you need to reach? 😅
Sherrie, you way undersell your skills! Your numbers from last year prove that you get a lot done. And those of us who follow you are not wanting to pressure your production. We want you to be enjoying what you do. Just come on when you have time and catch us up on your life!! That's better than you burning out and leaving FlossTube. And, I vote you do your series on one piece of fabric. If you have lots of littles, what are you going to do with them? And please please get off the energy drinks.... those things are ☠️ poison. ❤❤❤❤❤
Sherrie can I ask what count fabric and size did you use for Patchwork Calendar? I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole and bought this pattern and threads. Thank you x
Hi Sherrie love the gingerbread house! I have a little story , I live in an apartment ,will there is a older gentleman who takes his walks when I take mine or I'm going to get my mail I talk to everyone say Hi and go on my way. Well at Christmas he came to my apt to let me know that the mail had been delivered, I said thank you to him, and proceeded to get my mail he followed me and walked me back to my apartment. We can put decorations by our doors he said that he thought my decorations were beautiful I said thank you, then he said to me But the lady in side is the most beautiful decoration, I laughed said thank you and said have a good day! The next day I was talking to my neighbor in the hallway and he came out of his door with a lady which turned out to be his wife. I have seen and spoken to her she's very nice, well she doesn't speak to me any more, I don't know if he said something to her about me or if a neighbor said something to her. It is sad that you can't to be friendly and nice anymore! Love you're videos, Have a good week! Nancy in California
My wife doesn’t want to seem mean, but she thinks you may have missed a little doo-dad from your May block on the Owl Forest patchwork calendar - hope she hasn’t misspoken and certainly don’t want you to take it as a criticism 😮 just not sure if you had noticed it
Another great flosstube xxx
Thanks Stephanie ☺️
Just love all your videos
Happy stitching 😊❤
Thanks Elizabeth ☺️
Fab as always hun, I’m definitely joining you on the loose stitching I’m having a year of stitching what I want when I want ❤

That’s a very good point 🤔
Keep those Big Girl Pants on, especially when tradies come to the door. You have me laughing every video. Have a great week and Happy Stitching 🌸💞🌸
Thanks Suzie ☺️
I'm with both with the loose and the big pants. I love your videos. ❤❤❤❤
We’ll all be loose together 🤣
I stitched the Fall on the Farm all on one. I guess to my way of thinking, I'd stitch it in the way you want to finish it...the Frosty Forest. If you want a bunch of smalls, do them individually. If you want a wall piece, stitch it on one piece of fabric. Each square is a finish, you know! 😊 Love the Liz Matthews finish. I stitched that one too, also without the words.
Yeah think I’m going with smalls and great you e stitched without words too. Great minds ☺️
Your Quaker piece is stunning Sherrie. I think it looks best without he words-good decision!
Thanks ☺️
Thank you for another great show. Never worry about content for your flosstube. I come because it's sitting with a friend and having a chat. I answer you when watching and sometimes I answer in the comments. It's about enjoying the journey of stitching and you share that. Oh I hear you answer Lin or is that just the voices in my head 🤪

Well this was another laugh out loud episode Sherrie, thanks for all the giggles 😂💗
Thanks Rebecca ☺️
I love how you say someone is enabling you as you’re standing there twisting our arms as well 😅 After all this time I thought I’d learned when it was safe to take a sip of my coffee…nope… around swung the Big Girl Panties Chair and spew went my coffee 😂 You’re finishing is lovely and I always enjoy seeing what your stitching.
Oops sorry Erica 🤣🤣
you should definitely be proud of the gingerbread house finish! it turned out great, and the buttons add so much charm! creativity is indeed just intelligence having fun; thanks for the reminder Sherrie (:

I came here to say exactly that!!! The Stacy Nash piece is brilliant!! And your choices of "garnishments" are inspiring. I'm gonna need to do that one now.
Aw thanks Alison ☺️
Aw thanks ladies ☺️
As always one great floss tube. Had me laughing again. Your gingerbread house sewing book is fantastic. Happy stitching
Thanks so much Susan ☺️
I LOVE IT! Once they’re in, they quite like to stay in😂😂😂 Watch out for Sherrie ya handsome blokes!

Well it might be me that needs the magnifiers 🤣🤣🤣

I love your gingerbread house finish, it is so cute. Thanks for another flosstube full of laughter 😆
Thanks Alison ☺️
The final thought should be stitched by every stitcher. I'm going to do it.
Ooh I’d love to see it when it’s done ☺️
You can do what ever you want so stitch away!! Keep breathing (always helps😂) absolutely love your gingerbread house xxx love the little match girl and I have the disturbed women completed and my family agree that’s me 😂😂
Thanks Tracey ☺️
Oh men!!! hahahaha The needle book is gorgeous. The buttons you added are beautiful. You really put your big girl pants. You started 2025 with a lot of energy. Progress is progress.
Thank you so much Laura ☺️
Oh sherrie ! I love your videos! There’s always a chuckle and well as your lovely stitching
Thanks so much Sarah ☺️
Your finishes are so good you are too hard on yourself. I love your floss tube. You make me laugh so much. Just do whatever you want . I'll be watching, sewing, with my cup of tea and enjoying the pieces you show.
Ah thanks Joanne ☺️
I will greatly enjoy joining you in your “loose” 2025. I always stitch what I want, but I only stitch one (or two, tops) things at a time. It makes me very nervous to have many things vying for my attention. Since I only start things I really want to stitch and complete, I’m quite happy in my monogamous stitching world. I do allow myself to kit up many things, however. The call of my kitted projects helps me to achieve finishes more quickly.
That said, as another loose woman with my big girl panties, I salute you!
Carol in TX
That made me laugh soo much 🤣🫡
Sherrie, you are great at finishing.
Thanks Sarah. It is indeed a journey ☺️
The one red thread on the go at all times is a necessity for sure ☺️
Love your videos, Sherri! The spontaneous fireworks had me crying/laughing 🤣 Your Stacy Nash gingerbread house is the prettiest I have seen -- gorgeous!
Aw thanks so much Carrie ☺️
Yup too much stitching and too little time. Sorry to hear you’ve been poorly. Hope you’re feeling better now ☺️
OMFG! You just made me snort laugh!!!😂😂😂
🤣 my work here is done 😂😂
Having just gone through one ❄️ snowstorm and one ⛄️ snow I absolutely do see the frosty morn or melting snow and I love the look of your blessing sampler.
Thank you ☺️
Hi Sherrie, you make me laugh so much - it is a joy to watch you. I am sooooooooooooo impressed with your Snow Queen and wondered what fabric you used. This may be a 2025 start for me amongst all the other beautiful things I want to stitch. Keep on with your big pants - I love a pair of back warmers. Love Helen. xxxx
Thanks Helen. I’m using the called for fabric, 32ct witchelt in midnight blue ☺️
Thanks as always for making me laugh 😂😂 x
Great flosstube ❤
Thanks SallyAnn ☺️
Congrats on your FFO ! That house is so sweet. ❤

Oh girl! You do make me giggle. Thank you
Laughter is the best thing in the world ☺️
Thank you. Apparently I am highly intelligent and have a lot of fun. 😂 From what I see so are you.❤❤ take care.😊
We definitely are Sandy ☺️
Laughing with you from Dallas, Texas! You and Momma loves you GB are part of my Sunday morning routine! Could not start the day without you! I’m with you about refocusing my stitching for me especially as I have been unable to stitch since November ( pinched a nerve in my neck). Oh Siobhan that sounds nasty! Hope it’s all sorted now ☺️
Thank you for your inspiering episode once again

Beautiful Gingerbread House and Quaker Snowflakes! Love spending my Sunday morning seeing what you’ve gotten up to and the fireworks! That’s good to know. Think I’m plumping for individually at the moment but I still need to kit up so that could change 🤔
Hi Sherrie, Happy New Year!!!!
My bank manager is absolutely howling at the moment!!!!! Spent a small fortune on Ebay on myself for my 60 birthday!!!!!!
You’re only 60 once Karen! You enjoy it ☺️
Your patterns and work are fantastic. I agree with Noreen, it’s your work, no one else’s and I always get such a good laugh, several so great laugh. 😊 37:38 37:39
Thanks Sharon ☺️
Another great video! I love your finished needle book. Maybe a plum dress for the woman on The Little Match Girl. Take care and I look forward to our next visit.
Ooh there’s a thought 🤔
Love your floss tube's Sherri, they are down to earth and make me laugh! Your stitching is beautiful needless to say you make me want to stitch all the things! Hope you had snow ,I am in Canada and can send plenty over to you if it helps brighten your day!!! 😆🌧☃
Ah Canada is on my bucket list…one day ❄️
Oh yes Sherrie the chap is correct about us being too intelligent to be bored. Even the screen display agreed with him😂! Your reaction to that one was so funny. Yes I know you struggled last year with your poor finger. Hopefully this year you can make up for lost time 🪡🪡🪡
Your FFO and finish are fabulous! I told myself I would be more mindful of my spending this year - think I'm starting again with that goal in February....
This made me laugh out loud 🤣

@justsewsherrie 🔥 😱 🤣 !
Intelligent, smart and flamboyant sounds like the perfect combination ☺️
Hi Sherrie,
Your gingerbread sewing house finish is gorgeous. 😍How about a little blue dress for the little match girl?
I look forward to seeing what colour you choose.
Look after yourself ❤
I’m all about the blues 🥰
Love your Stacy Nash Gingerbread House finish ❤ I’m still working on mine but I’m determined to get it done asap. I’m going to Cowslip too…maybe we can all take ours with us and create a little village ❤
Oh that’s fabulous Penny, looking forward to meeting you ☺️
Hi Sherrie great to see you again and wow the finishes are beautiful ….. on the buying front I am having a no spend January on anything I want still buying the needs but it’s not easy Amazon is my biggest problem 😂especially in the middle of the night ……Happy stitching enjoy your week and keep those big girl pants handy x
I mean sometimes my wants get disguised as needs, maybe yours do too Rosa 🤣
@ great idea must buy more cross stitch 😂😂😂
I've really been buying Stacey Nash charts recently like they were going out of fashion! Your Gingerbread house is gorgeous and all the better for your own additions 😊
Completely agree about Nurge hoops, I got one but it damaged the fabric so it went in the bin, talk about grip of iron!
As ever, lovely stitching and you made me laugh as usual too....off to go watch more flu tube 😅
Can’t go wrong with Stacy Nash ☺️
Good luck with your purchasing curb! I’m aiming to stitch from stash this year (well at least until my retreat in September) 😂. Your flosstubes are always so very entertaining ❤❤
God knows how long my ‘restrictions’ on buying will last 😬
Me again today.
You’re absolutely correct ☺️
🌞🌞🌞
Hello my friend! Well Stacey Nash finish bit of a Bobbie dazzler isn’t it! I think you better at finishing than you think! And that Liz Matthew’s! gorgeous! Love all your stitching choices this week so wintry. Re match girl why don’t you do the dress in a like a wintry blue (your fave colours and matches the winter vibe) whatever you decide it’s going to be gorgeous!! 🧵💗
Oooh royal blue would be lovely 🥰
Good thinking Lisa ☺️
You always make me laugh!! Congrats on your finishes!!! Well done!! I have a couple of Nurge hoops, and I do use them. BUT - I'll ONLY use them if my entire design fits inside the hoop and I will NEVER have the hoop fit on top of my stitches; for the same reasons you mentioned. And I have heard horror stories about damage to both stitches and linen. Just not worth it to me, so I stick with my traditional old style hoops for everything else. Till next time. Steph x
Yes I absolutely agree ☺️
I was talking the other day about when does it stop being "I fell over" and starts being "I had a fall"? Like is there a specific age you need to reach? 😅
I dunno but I think I reached it Chloe 🤣
Sherrie, you way undersell your skills! Your numbers from last year prove that you get a lot done. And those of us who follow you are not wanting to pressure your production. We want you to be enjoying what you do. Just come on when you have time and catch us up on your life!! That's better than you burning out and leaving FlossTube. And, I vote you do your series on one piece of fabric. If you have lots of littles, what are you going to do with them? And please please get off the energy drinks.... those things are ☠️ poison. ❤❤❤❤❤
You’re absolutely right Margaret. I will stop the red bulls 😬
Sherrie can I ask what count fabric and size did you use for Patchwork Calendar? I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole and bought this pattern and threads. Thank you x
I’m using 40ct ballet slippers by fox and rabbit ☺️
Aw that’s a shame. Who knows what goes on in people’s minds
My wife doesn’t want to seem mean, but she thinks you may have missed a little doo-dad from your May block on the Owl Forest patchwork calendar - hope she hasn’t misspoken and certainly don’t want you to take it as a criticism 😮 just not sure if you had noticed it
Nothing mean about that Tony. Your wife is absolutely correct and I rely on you folks to point out my mistakes 😀
