its amazing what gems we all have hiding in plain sight in our collections, some great bands there got to get me some buddy miles that sounds wild, cheers robert
Hey Robert..I think we are guilty of having some great stuff in our collection we need to blow the dust off of..Grunderswitch..never got the recognition they deserved..Blue Cheer..their first album with Summertime Blues is awesome..they we’re the loudest band on the planet..Buddy Miles was awesome..great stuff👍❤glen
@@GlenKellawayfromthebasement thank you and im glad you tuned in. I could have showed many more lol as I've been focusing on so many other bands Appreciate it always my friend 🧡
Love that Flock album - their 2nd Dinosaur Swamps is decent as well. Both are regular listens for me. Been a while since i went through my pile of records. Cheers Brian
One of the joys of a record collection is revisiting those records gathering dust! I'm going to pick up some Grinderswitch, I see them quite often and they are inexpensive. I just picked up the first two Any Trouble albums, good stuff. Mink DeVille is great. Cowboy is excellent. Lots of great records in this video.
Nice One! Zebra and Santers are fantastic IMO! Zebra- "S/T" and Santers-"Racing Time" are two phenomenal releases more people need to hear! I'll have to give Grinderswitch a listen, another really good southern rock band you don't hear much about is Heartsfield.
Hi Robert!!! It's really good to revisit some records/artist that in cases are dust collector in our shelves. Some are unknown to me like Grinderswitch (that's almost a Death metal band name, lol.......). Girlschool used to do a lot of gigs with Motorhead back in the day, Lemmy liked them very much, also read that they're on their farewell tour. cheers and be well
Blue Cheer. One of the first albums I ever purchased, back in 1969, was Outsideinside. Cowboy. 5'll Get You Ten Is their best, in my opinion. Superb. Please Be With Me has great dobro from Duane Allman. I believe it was Duane's last recorded work.
@RobertsOnMyTurntable Duane knew the guys in Cowboy from his Florida days. He told them to move up to Macon and got them a recording contract with Capricorn. He did that for other musicians as well. He got Captain Beyond their recording contract. Duane did a lot in his short time on this planet.
We're all Somebody from Somewhere../That is the title of Steven Tyler's only solo Album..From 2016..I listened to the whole thing yesterday & it's really good/Its not like Aerosmith../ It's more country/ no loud guitars/ he covers the Song Janis Joplin recorded.."Piece of My Heart"..
@Isa-m2y4u thats awesome. Glad you enjoyed it. Honestly haven't been a fan for awhile, but I will definitely give it a listen. Never judge before you hear it lol Thank you 😊
