This recipe is just fine without the paste. The paste made it taste weird. Otherwise this is a great recipe. Thanks for sharing....
When I was studying in Aligarh,Tab main ek hotel mein dum aalo khane jaata tha aur woh aalu ke andar paneer daalta tha..aalu ko half cut krne par uske andar ka paneer combination alag level ka tha..

Like someone who cannot stay without non-veg in every meal. Veg dish is out of question for them. NOW this particular dish had changed her mind towards veg dish as well.
