Option to spend valor on LFR tier wouldn't solve that much since you would still feel incentivized to do LFR to save Valor early on. Better to have the currency from the new elemental rune dungeon difficulty be used for LFR gear. That way you can completely avoid LFR if you dont like it and you dont lose anything.

Even if it means removing all the boss mechanics. And how people do a bunch of stuff they allegedly hate but do cause theyll get a slightly higher ilvl purple. End of Banelocks comment just reminded me of how I think wow have been ruined due to players fomo.
I think LFR versions purchasable for valor is good, I also think maybe doubling the amount of gloves/chest/legs tier dropping from normal and LFR is also another solution, with heroic dropping the same amount of heroic tier but then an additional 100% at the normal ilvl. The latter option is ofc more complicated but I guess I'm not opposed to earning tier from the raid like in retail, but it's obviously very different to the norm we've had here.
The only change I would want to see for all of classic would be a classless tier token. My raid group has been absolutely screwed on the paladin priest warlock token all of T11 and T12 so far.
I got back into Cataclysm now when they do Firelands and no one does any other raid. Elemental Inferno dungeons are too difficult, regular heroics don't give upgrades, and the itemlevel is too low. The Zandalari dungeons are somewhere between but the realms seem pretty dead to sit 30minutes in queue.
I usually like LFR, lets you see the content, maybe u get lucky and win something but at min u get valorstones & fill your vault. Without the vault and upgrade systems LFR is less important to me especially because I never win tier out of LFR in retail, so whatever it takes to put the tier on the valor vendor that's what I am hoping for.
@scottejaye Can you please make a video about exactly how long it takes to do all the quests in 10 and 25 man for the legendary staff now that we have more info, theres legit 0 videos online on that :(
I agree with you on most things but if they implement raid finder at all it should be pushed if you put raid finder gear on vendors it’s pointless to have raid finder it will be a loooooong Que without people thinking it’s needed. That being said raid finder gear should be on justice points normal tier on valor like it is now if they go that route. A lot of the raid finder stuff has its own color skin would be lame not to have it at all either for people to transmog
Why would I be upset about having to raid more even if it’s LFR? I like the idea of just getting the heroic token from the boss and turning it into a heroic set piece instead of having to farm 4 weeks of valor cap for the normal token and then turning it into heroic piece with the heroic token.
Or what they could do is add the whole 5 pieces in the Valor vendor but only lfr ilvl like ICC had for 10 man normal you could buy each piece inside ICC.
not my own personal complaint, but lots of people in my guild started not liking your videos cuz you're always hyping up mop (or the next expansion) i don't know which it is specifically, but yeah, some of them want raid finder in the game, i don't personally care if it is in or not, i think having it not be in teh game wouild be healthy to see if that is "truly" the problem. My personal take is just make it easy as hell, make it so you just go in stare at the boss and let them roll over, it's for people who don't get to see the content finally get to see it. but we'll see what blizzard says, if i am correct they said they won't be adding it this time, to test, and i think the test is healthy
If you manage to complete your tier 12 HC set and beat dragon soul it's a good time to start preparing for mop instead of farming t13 for absolutely no reason.
They really need to actually have an ACCELERATED CADENCE and blast through DS as quickly as possible. We cannot be in there till Fall 2025... They need to also put actual effort into the Elemental dungeons this time and not just do a lazy health/dmg % buff.
I don't mind raid finder being there for the people that want it, but I don't want to feel forced to do it. Just make raid finder lock you out of the raid for the week. Like they did with TOGC where you could do normal OR heroic, but not both.
@@Craftee6 the whole cata experience is already sped up, why would you wanna speed it up even more? you could just put a vendor so you get full bis handed to you so you just raid for fun
@@zladd3nN I want to speed up gear acquisition because the phase timer is shorter. Despite raiding 25hc guild that cleared entire content very quickly and became a speedrunning guild i only got fullbis at the release of the dungeons (due to throne jewelery). Firelands shall be a little easier, although we still havent seen sulfuras heroic drop. And i want to get gear quicker because A) I'm in a speedrunning guild and speedruns only really begin when people are bis or close to bis. B) Because i pvp and i enjoy doing more damage than most people.
@@Craftee6 The normal t13 tokens not being available from vendor wont do anything for the big RNG loot. if you're missing like 1 -2 items on like 4 people it wont matter that much that you think since most of the time it comes down to comp And in DS its gonna be alot of caster with the staff thats gonna be toppin the meters. Becuase of the class stacking in the game right now and the vast amount of different loot that is available iit takes longer

There's for example no plate dps belt (there is mastery expertise str belt but its tank belt, it has low strength), no str back at all, many pieces due to necessity have bad stats. It's not vast at all. And tokens not being available will in fact matter for rng loot, because rn bu the end of week 2, 3 tops almost everyone has 4p. That's not going to be the case going into ds. It not only will impact progress (should ds prove more challenging than firelands), but also farm. It makes very little sense to keep that change in hastened release of classic cata, when we literally get heroic + dungeons that let us get most of bis gear from last phase. That was also not available in original cataclysm, yet i dont see you complaining about it unnecessarily speeding up the game. So what gives? Why are you so opposed to this one change, that actually is a change that makes people at least run dungeons for 3-4 weeks of the new season?
After Wrath I only came back to each expansion to level up, then once my 30 days expired I went back to whatever I was playing. Does the raid LOCKOUTS work differently with Dragonsoul and beyond? How can we do Raid finder without locking out the character from the guild run?
Those were little different back in day, sort of like first step what getting later on in expansion for different difficulty's. Though back in og Cata days, they were different raid id between LFR and real run same way as BH 10 and 25 don't share weekly cooldown. Prob giving some info on LFR close on the 4.4 patch release date
I can’t see any reason to make a whole video on the next tier raid sets. It’s a 5 second google and mouse over. Also atlas loot. Any real raider already knows what’s coming and IF they don’t , they’ll figure it out 10 seconds after wondering. Vid is totally not necessary
Most people have a life outside wow and dont wonder about these things until they are relevant, which would be week before or even day of next phase launch. This video is definitely good for the vast majority of players that are in this category

Yep . Dragonsoul is going to SUCK. We all know it. Many people wont even bother after a clear or two I assume (the player base is already plummeting). Cata is cooked. I am going to have fun in Firelands with the legendary staff for a bit and probably look elsewhere. I am looking forward to Phase 3 of Ashes of CReation Alpha and PoE2 coming out soon. WoW classic was a good ride but I want off this hamster wheel. Microsoft Blizzard has made it clear where they are putting the effort. That place is NOT our version of Classic Cata-Mop.

They need to bring back the XP buff like I wanna level a few alts from 80/85 but feel discouraged knowing that there is a 50% buff

if i rember correctly LFR didn't have a save so mega death grind was the route.

MoP Classic is confirmed for summer 2025 so that won't be an issue.

They should have released Firelands with ZA/ZG, that would have been neat, giving us loads of stuff to do for gear.

It is sped up. Phases are few months not a year. Entire cata is gonna be a year or less. Thats why we also have increased drop rates from raid.
