FYI, that's a Speed Graphic, as it has the focal plane shutter in the back. To be more detailed, it's an Anniversary Speed Graphic, made between 1940 and 1946. Not the prettiest camera-- a true case of "function over form". Great cameras though-- built like tanks, and very versatile. Yours has the Graflok back as well, which was a special option for that model. You can use 120 roll film adapters with it as well.

Thanks a lot John for the info. It’s actually a Frankenstein camera. I started with a crown, then bought a speed graphic for spare parts, and kinda mixed both of them together as both had their own problems. Together they make one whole functional tank of a camera. Also the focal plane is not in the best shape, and in my head and heart it’s a crown. But you’re right, it’s a speed Frankenstein graphic camera! :D
      Hope you enjoyed the video!

Awesome to see someone using one of these. I have a Speed Graphic with 2 lenses and maybe 16 double side cassettes. Only used B&W so far due to processing access/cost issues. Tri-X and Plus-X I can develop and scan. Digital printing. The ability to correct some moderate perspective issues is really awesome. Not what a true view camera can do but a really nice feature.

It’s a very solid camera and amazing as a general 4x5 camera. Has its limitations but I feel the user, in this case me, has more limitations than the camera :D
Yeah large format can get pretty expensive. I shoot fomapan almost exclusively. Bought some boxes of portra 160 to try it out. I develop color as well as bnw and I also print color. Will probably make some darkroom printing videos as well!

@@randomgrain Learned color wet chem working for a wedding photographer after high school in 1970s. Only 1 enlarger left, a Minolta 16mm/35mm mini enlarger. Switched to digital scan/print early '00 but used mostly film still until the Epson RD1 and also Pentax started making DSLRs due to extensive lens inventory of M mount, K mount and screw mounts. Maybe eBay is calling some of it....

Really enjoyed listening to you walk us through your thought process for composing these shots. The Crown Graphic is such a classic camera. I almost got one twice .

great video. You are a braver man than I shooting in that wind hahaha. Partly why I have a linhof technika. The weight helps me. The crown seems like a very nice camera and. Thank you and I subbed!

Yeah the weight definitely helps in these situations! I can only feel the tripod and camera shaking, along with the subjects 😅
Wow thanks a lot man, I hope you enjoy the videos :)

Too bad you didn't use any any tilts on the perspective for more dimension.

I need to pickup the habit of dropping the bed for that forward tilt. It’s a shame it doesn’t work for vertical shots though. This cameras limited movements sometimes tilt me XD
You are right, some of these would benefit from more dimension!
