I bought Hyde at the beginning of my fragrance journey. That’s the only Hiram Greene I own. I also bought Figment around the same time. I jumped into the deep end right off the bat!
Another banger video! My next purchase is going to be from this house. I’m thinking Arbole or Slowdive. Or if I can find Lustre for a blind buy based on your reaction.
@Ramsey - I got a sample of Arso today. I had high hopes but a bit disappointed. It sits too close to the skin, and all I get is a faint Cade oil experience. My sample is a crappy luckyscent dabber, and not a spray. Would like to hear your experience with Arso.
I just had a similar experience with a Luckyscent Arso sample. I was expecting something much louder and more campfire smoky but it was a quiet, sweet pine sap to me-- almost holiday candle-y. A let down for me too. Maybe it's different when sprayed?
Vivacious is one of the few scents that made me naucious.. I blind bought l'heure bleue and was afraid they were very similar. They are similar but l'heure bleue is just lovely.. Vivacious is like plastic flowers, pastel or something.
Nice... i just grabbed something at hand lol... i got more dried fruits in slowdive than dates.. i get more of a date note from Arabie or L'Enfant Terrible 🤌🤌🤌
Man, sad I missed this livestream. I actually enjoyed a good amount of his fragrances. I got a discovery set from luckyscent lol, they gave me two vetiver and it was missing vivacious so they sent me vivacious, but I did not get lustre since it's discontinued. I enjoyed slowdive, vivacious, shangri la, vetiver, arcadia (which you did not have, fougere with lavender, tonka, spicy resins), and hyde, arbole, and moon bloom were okay to me. You make me want to get lustre now hahah. I've loved rose frags ever since you recommended perris monte carlo rose de taif extrait. As always thank you for your reviews and thoughts.
Great to see so many of them meet your standards Ramsey. Always was a fan of the brand ever since I smelled the original Shangri La. It's what ultimately led me to pick up both Mitsouko and Rochas Femme. I think Hyde won an Art and Olfaction award too? For being self-taught, Hiram is pretty damn talented.
Great job Ram. Sorry I haven’t been here a long time. Never smelled Hiram’s stuff but I feel like I’d particularly enjoy Shangri-la and Slowdive. Oh and Vivacious. I’m staying safe and all that stuff but I’ll try to find time to watch your diatribes, maybe it’ll take my mind off things. Either way, see ya soon ram
Cheers Rams ,missed the live 2am time here lol ,the unconscious hour if you will 😅. I do like this house potent naturals for sure , Hyde and Slow Dive are my only to full bottles, I-have sampled others and was suitably impressed, looking forward to your take on the older offerings from Olfactory Studios which I got 4 bottles I believe? So yeah I won’t comment now nor influence you ,unless you send me a free bottle hahahaha 😅cheers buddy I like the tailored fit shirt 👔 clingy but so on point ✌️🙏👍

Heck ya Mrs. Jefferson... well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😂
Wearing Iris Torrefié from Guerlain today. It is just beautiful but the sillage is quite weak. For that price I want a well-performing perfume.
I think I have a sample floating around here somewhere... thanks for watching 🙂
