Hello ma'am, how can we ask questions to rutali ma'am (sorry if I didn't spell the name correctly). I have a few questions to ask her , does she have a youtube channel? Could you please answer these questions
1. After doing the course we can work as a PTA, but after 1-2 year if i feel like i want to give the exam and be a PT, then what? Do i have to go through the credentialing process then?
2. Should we get our credentialing done before applying for the Pta/ota diploma course and then apply for the programme in case we are planning to give PCE?
Which of the above options is better? I mean the credentialing thing is valid for 2 yrs i guess? Im not sure. Staying in canada while studying pta/ota diploma is it easy to get my bachelor's credentialing done or not?
Aisha mam credentialing Process needs to be done when we r in india bcoz there r so many documents which we need to collect from our respective universities and even if it.s not approved then we. Have to do some online courses so as per my view it.s better to do it from india and even it is time consuming ( 6 mnths )

@@Aisha-zs5zj mam it.s better that if we take some other course bcoz if pce exms ( allah na kare ) we r not able to clear then we can work in another field ,as rmt or accupunctrist or anything else ,2 yrs diploma will be worth

@@afsaandokadia9432 I think the same but Diploma toh diploma hi rahega, aap acupuncture mei karo ya physio mei, pay utna hi rahega almost. And PTA karne ke baad PCE exam dena compulsory nahi hai i think, I'm not sure. Even i feel that we should do some other course but ultimately it depends on personal goals & preferences.

The OTA PTA diploma is not at all necessary- it’s just that many prefer this course to apply for student visa. The course is very similar to PT field.

What if the college is not accredited for ota/pta program the link you provided in description are missing few college.
How does it affect ? Should we get admission in non-accredited college ?
Hi. Please check www.ontariocolleges.ca and yes it is preferable to study in an accredited college.

maam is it will make a difference if we choose a post secondary diploma instead of post graduate diploma in our CRS score or getting pr? As OTA/PTA diploma is a post secondary diploma.
The only difference in terms of points will be if you take a 1 year program versus a 2 year program as that is one of the questions while submitting your express entry profile. However there is no such question about post secondary or post graduate diploma.
@@thesmartphysio6985 Ma'am will there be visa refusal if we opt for ota/pta diploma after bpt instead of graduate certificate courses in Canada, as the agents are saying it is not a wise decision to go for diploma courses if you are a graduate.

For PTA jobs- hospitals do prefer people with OTA/PTA diploma
Once you clear PCE- you can definitely work as a PT in hospitals

Your visa won't get rejected but OT/PTA courses will fetch low points for PR. After graduation if you will go for grad cert courses that would be best.

Can a person with BPT degree from India work as a PTA in Canada ? What are the requirements to do so?
There are no requirements except a proof of completion of your bachelors degree and/or relevant experience. You can come and directly work as a PTA in a clinic or retirement/ long term care home/ nursing home. However to work in a hospital you need to have a PTA diploma from a Canadian college.
