Ideally, it is better to take 2 or 3 readings for the same discharge and take an average.
The venturimeter is installed in pipelines to measure discharge. Once it is calibrated, simply knowing the pressure difference and Cd, one can get the actual discharge in the pipe. So, Cd is very important to be found out
