    At the end of the video I was about to hit like button but value of coefficient of discharge greater than 1 put me in real shocked

      That is possible when the readings are taken before the flow become steady in the pipe. In such situations, by the time, the actual discharge is measured in collecting tank, the pressure difference in manometer would have changed. Ideally, it is better to take 2 or 3 readings for the same discharge and take an average.

      The venturimeter is installed in pipelines to measure discharge. Once it is calibrated, simply knowing the pressure difference and Cd, one can get the actual discharge in the pipe. So, Cd is very important to be found out

      Venturimeter is an instrument which is used for calculation of flowrate/discharge of an fluid which is flowing through pipe.
