Great video! I have caught squid before in rompin but i didnt know theres 30g egi jigs. Learned a new thing from you guys. And the hotplate squid looks yummy!!! Keep the awesome videos coming.
Fried squid rings anyone, now im hungry,is a shame that my wife is allergic to seafood but im not, nice one Fred long time no see and is always nice to see your videos, say hi to Nigel
Thank you Brother Victor for all the support and good to hear from you too. Will send your regards to Nigel. Stay tuned for more our videos and help us to spread this channel to your area ha ha!!
yes exactly what Victor has mentioned, the feel is better when using a bait caster and also you can see that we do a lot of drop and lift motion too. Sometimes when you missed a bite, you want to be quick to drop the Egi jig fast and the bait caster has this advantage. Having said that, you can also use spinning setup for this style of fishing too (wink)
Hi Fred. I have 2 gomoku rids. Erito and kaiten overhead rods. I would like to but a overhead reel for slow jigging and trolling. Using on hobie kayak for inshore and near shore offshore. Targeting snapper. Mackerel and kingfish in Australia. How does a daiwa saltiga LD20 2 speed overhead sound? Otherwise can you recommend another?
Hi Joachim, thank you for supporting us and in my humble opinion, for the Kaiten maybe the LD20 is good size but you do not need a 2 speed. As for the Erito version, a size 200 will be enough for your snapper fishing. I will think the Kaiten will be better for Kingfish : )
Great fishing tips! The man is an expert!

Is there any reason for using a bc instead of spinning for this technique?
Is about control of the bait with a baitcaster is easier to know when the lure hit bottom
