Introduced to Les ('Old Judge Jones') in 1977 by the oldest brother (Robert Delgado- RIP❤️) of one of my best friends (Hootch- Raymond). I was 17 yrs old and blown away. Been in love w Les' music ever since! Good voice, great guitarist, great song writer! Thanks for posting! Great memories.
After having been a BIG fan of Les Dudek's writing and recording ,I've now rediscovered music of his and fallen in love all over again! Always great to listen to your vocals and guitar work my brother.. No matter what year it is !! ;)
les dudek is by far one of the best guitar players ever , he took Duane's place , and Gregg didnt want him in the Brothers band cause he sounded to much like Duane ....
Les is great but I wouldn't go as far to say he's better than Duane, if that's what your saying. This version is way different than the original album, I'd like to know where it came from.
not sure on that story, Betts wanted him, so did the manager, from what I read it came down to Les passing because he had more offers in Cali, inretaliation Allmans manager made sure Les was cut out of royalties, Dickey to his credit took the manager on for that and fought for Les's writing credits but didn't win
