This is the first of the "Better Know A Speedrunner" series I've seen and I enjoyed it enough to go back and watch the others. Very great idea to start with a highlight of the runner and the introduction is very well-written. Phenomenal showcase of the runner. AWESOME changes of the tracks throughout the entirety of the video. It's been really great to see the minor improvements. The one area I think you excel in is writing and commentary. It's something I've never had a single thing to say about other than great job. Throughout the video I think it would have been nice hear more commentary or feedback from yourself for a few reasons. If your intention with this series is to provide a stage for the runners 100% dedicated to themselves, then ignore these thoughts: I'm not sure about your interview conducting process, but I know for sure even if people have interesting things to say, they aren't always the easiest to listen to. Maybe their microphones aren't the best, they're monotone ("Bueller..."), or maybe they're super talented but just boring personalities. Fortunately this hasn't been the case with your recent interviews, but definitely something I'd consider for the longevity of the series. I have a ton of thoughts, but I'll spare you the wall of text. Keep up the great work though. I can definitely see the potential of this channel
As always, fantastic feedback, Level. If this ever takes off enough to focus on it full time, the goal is to do actual back-and-forth interviews, playing off th answers I'm given and diving deeper. Ala Hot Ones. But due to time constraints, and making it as easy as possible on the runners to participate, for now they are simply recording answers to a form at their convenience. With that said, I like the suggestion of adding my own thoughts more often. I'll see if I can work that in somehow in a way that doesn't detract from the runner. Each episode is, ultimately, about them, so making sure I keep that focus is key. Thanks again for the detailed feedback sir!
