Best advice would to reposition and get the jump on opponents for him because obviously getting to cover didn’t work what you did is what worked which is jumping on him
Honestly the best way to climb past gold/plat is learning what the game entails. Too many people do stuff like push a fight thinking they can 3rd part, thing is, so is every other squad nearby. Are you confident you can take and win a fight? Then dont. Rotate towards where you think late game will be and post up. Fight there and aim for the objective of the game, win, if that isn't possible. Whether it was a hard or far rotation, then go for kills to get whatever you can before you inevitably go down. Cant take a fight and win? Play some mixtape. No load screen so you'll improve faster. Really. Just play the game properly. Yes its a shooter. But if you're confident you can hit shots you want to play tactically. Rotate in, not out. That couple extra kp doesn't mean much when you have to run to the opposite end of the map and break through the remaining 16 squads. Especially higher ranks. I need like top 8 w/5 kills to go positive. If im not top 8 in general it's just a failed game. The objective is always to win. Play your objective.

Well, because he knows how important it is to always be shooting from cover, and not shooting from your ego. Only one will save you from getting dash-boarded most of the time. My random teammates seem to think it’s the latter. That’s why I’m the one ending with 2600 dmg and decent KP. And my randoms are screaming at me from beyond the grave with 180 dmg and no KP.
I been in diamond since season 2. My biggest problem is I play to aggressive, and have absolutely no trust for my teammates. I got close to masters a few times, but I just don’t rely on teammates, and if they aren’t really any good I won’t revive them and rather play solo
Randoms can get pretty annoying but try to play with them, and communicate stuff to them. You know what your big issue is, you just have to fix it if that's the only thing holding you back. If you help them, they'll help you. You can play off of them too, let them push first and go in after, or abuse their knockdown shields. Stick together and focus fire people.

I'm terrible with using cover like this n I am starting to do it alot more.. n I think it comes from tryin to hurry too much b4 we get 3rd partied by like everyone b4 we even finish the fight that we are in.... so as a player it's easy to rush n make mistakes vs taking ur time as a player or team. Help us with this issue. Cuz 3rd partying is a huge huge problem in alot of scenarios.

His aim needs improvement, and the BIG issue was his awareness of what you were doing combined with him not moving at all. 😂😂 That's just based on this clip though, probably wasnt the whole session. Looks like you were hitting more shots, and he was letting you push up for free without using the cover he was on to recover.
